Review of R. N. Modi Engineering College.
Placements: In our batch, about 20% of the students got placed. The salary offered to the students is Rs.15,000 to 20,000 per month. There are many requirements in our course. Every company prefer mechanical engineering students. The lowest salary package of 2 LPA and the average salary package of 3 LPA and the highest salary package of 5 LPA are offered in our course. Almost 100% of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very empowering, and labs are clean. The Wi-Fi facility works very well, and the classrooms are huge. The library is decent for us. The hostel is decent, not very good, but it is clean. The food mess is available near the hostel. Medical facilities are available, and sports and games are also available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for students, and especially our course faculty was very helpful. They are knowledgeable and also qualified, and they teach us in such a way that we all understand all the diagrams and also theory. They make the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become mechanical engineering, and it is the origin branch of all the branches. It also has a lot of scopes. I wish that some not related subjects in our course should be removed, and don't replace them. The college organises events and the fest. Scholarships provided are very well.

The campus is average, but not many good opportunities are provided.
Placements: During the placements for our senior batch, 10% of our seniors got placed. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the highest is Rs. 20,000 per month. From my batch, 25% of the students got placed, and the salaries offered are the same as our seniors.
Infrastructure: The campus has labs, but the Wi-Fi facility is restricted. Many classrooms, library, sports and games rooms are available. Students can practise and play any game with no restrictions. The canteen is available for a limited time. I didn't face any issues with the infrastructure of our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Most of the faculty members during my tenure were B.Tech holders and were freshers. But their teaching and teaching methodology were good. They used chalk and board method to teach. The faculty to student ratio was 1:16. I got industry exposure because the college has conducted a workshop on ready mix concrete. The course curriculum was useful.
Other: Sports and cultural weeks are conducted every year in which a lot of students participate. A lot of extracurricular activities were conducted. The campus crowd was good, and scholarships were provided to students.

Other: I chose this college because of the good teaching and discipline here, and this is a well-disciplined and the best college in Kota. The alumni network is not so good though, all are average. The senior students help in the studies, notes etc. The placements are not good as only local companies come to the college and select 15-20 students. The campus life is average, the campus is not too large and it is compact. But the garden is good. I never lived in the hostel life as I live separately in a room itself. But the hostel life is good and safe for the students. The exam structure is very good as there is a written exam and before the main exam three types of exams are there which is overall good. At my time the fee structure was 42000 per year. It is not high compared to the other colleges and is average so anybody can afford. There is no extra fees other than the original.

Our college is better, but practically they are not improved.
Placements: I have scored 70%, which is average of all semesters in B.Tech of the computer science engineering branch. The salary offered is Rs. 25,000-40,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our college are Infosys, TCS, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Google, IBM, L&T, etc. The top role offered to the students is a software developer. In our course, the salary package offered is 3-5 LPA. Almost 70% of the students got an internship.
Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities like labs, classrooms, a library, etc. Our college is supportive and good to solve any problems. The library is good, but government job, GK or current daily affairs are not available in our college.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are good at teaching. Our course is the best to learn new technology in any stream. Computer science engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics and electrical engineering are provided here.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to do something digitally.
