I am satisfied with the good faculty members, but it should provide ventilation.
Placements: About 150 students take admission every year. The salary is offered only to the people who conduct internships and teaching and other staff members. Since it is a medical course, companies don't visit. Internships will be provided in the same college hospital.
Infrastructure: There is no free Wi-Fi facility, but there are good labs, classrooms and a library. But proper ventilation is not available in classrooms. The quality of facilities provided in the hostel such as food, etc., is average. Since it is a medical college hostel, medical facilities are good. Sports and games are rarely provided.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is strictly followed and relevant. Exams and everything will be conducted according to the university rules. It depends on students how they utilise the course curriculum.
Other: I chose this course because I highly like to work for people, and saving their life is an excellent opportunity to fulfil my parent's dream and my dream. I wish that our classrooms should be properly ventilated. Extracurricular activities are rarely conducted in our college. Scholarships are provided by the Karnataka government.

Reality of Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences, Raichur.
Placements: Our college does not provide placement opportunities, it does provide compulsory rotating internships for 365 days in the district hospital of Raichur. The hospital sees a huge patient load of about 2500 patients per day for a batch of 150 students, which provides good practical experience. In addition, the teaching faculty is good, which helps students gain admission to postgraduate programs. The students are also provided with a monthly salary of INR 30,000.
Infrastructure: The college building is vast, and four stories high. It has four lecture halls, one big auditorium, and one mini auditorium. There is a large library where students can read or borrow books. There are different laboratories for different departments. The hostel building is five stories high and has 164 rooms and two study halls where students can study at night. The mess is affordable, and the average monthly bill is about 3200 rupees.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, and mentors are assigned to every 30 students in the batch. The curriculum follows the rules of the NMC and the RGUHS. Weekly exams are held regularly, and monthly exams are also held. Internal exams are held quarterly in the examination hall, and the final exam is held once a year in August or September. The exams are quite difficult, but one can do well with regular study.
Other: I am studying for my MBBS degree, which is a dream of every student and their parents. This course will help me to serve society by practicing medicine. The course develops communication between the students and the people of rural life. The family adoption program takes students to villages and allots families to look after them. The hospital postings give students knowledge of the field. Many festivals are organized quarterly in our college. The famous festivals of our college are AAROHA Kalarava and Rims Premier League.

Great experience studying in rims
Placements: There is no such thing called placements in mbbs colleges, you will get to do a one year compulsory rotatory medical internship where you will get great exposure to different kinds of cases, you will get great clinical exposure and you can develop skills which can make you survive in your career moving forward.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is average, there is no canteen in college premises.Central Library is awesome with recently established digital library you can find books of all years. Sports facilities are good, there are tournaments every year for different sports, if you are interested in sports the tournaments would be awesome.
Faculty: Faculty is good, but at the end of the day it's you who is going to learn no matter how faculty teaches, hospital has good patient load so you will get great clinical knowledge. Internals are tough to pass which makes it easy to pass in finals and practicals are tough to pass without proper knowledge and preparation
Other: I wish there was a canteen in college premises which would have been of great help atleast during internship.

It is one of the best medical colleges in Karnataka.
Placements: Around 150 students got placed in our course. Our college provides good internship opportunities for students. Our college is good in terms of education.
Infrastructure: We have a well-equipped hospital. Doctors are good. Medical facilities are available 24X7. Classrooms are spacious and good. They are equipped with air-conditioners. They serve chicken every night. The food served in the mess is good.
Faculty: All teachers are good. They have completed their degrees. The teaching quality is good. They are friendly but at the same time, they maintain discipline. They take hours of a seminar to build self-confidence in your life. Overall, our campus is very good.
Other: Our campus is very huge. It is surrounded by many trees.

Totally, our college is very good both academically and in cultural programmes.
Placements: All of them are placed in packages of about 6-7 LPA. Almost 100 percent of the students got an internship from our course medical officer in the PHC centre, which is offered by our course. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. There is a digital library present, which has more books and also computer labs have very good infrastructure and maintenance. Classrooms have sufficient seating capacity and have digital boards, which are helpful for learning purposes. The quality of food is nice in the hostel, and also in the canteen. There are various sports on campus, such as badminton, cricket, volleyball, throwball and basketball.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful in every aspect, and they are all well-qualified and have very good knowledge. They also clarify our doubts regarding the subject and any topics, if necessary. The curriculum is very relevant, it makes the students ready. The semester exams are moderate level, and the pass percentage is 90 percent.
Other: There is the best possibility of getting a job after completing this course, so I would recommend this course.

My college is good in every aspect. Food and hospitality are good.
Placements: 100% of my classmates got placed in a top hospital around the country. The highest package is 4 LPA. Top companies are Apollo, Medicity, and Master DM Health Care. The highest paid candidate is about 5 LPA, and the lowest paid candidate is 3 LPA. Top roles offered in B.Sc. nursing are nursing tutor, staff nurse, and clinical instructor.
Infrastructure: College campus is good. We have our own hospital where we get a lot of experience. College does not offer hostel facilities for boys. Hostel facility for girls is available. Girls hostel and mess food are tasty. Our college conducts cultural events and sports meets every year.
Faculty: Teachers at our college are qualified and well knowledgeable with good teaching qualities. Course is relevant for job purpose. Exams are too difficult. Nursing exams are difficult to pass. Nursing is a job-oriented course. Nurses are the back bone of our hospital.
Other: For job purposes, I chose this course. I suggest that to improve there should be a practical rather than textbook.
