My Experience as an RMP Student.
Placements: Almost 90% of students were placed from my class. The highest package was 2.4 LPA, and the average was 1.8 LPA. The top recruiters were Bajaj Auto, Pune, and Bharat Gears Ltd, Thane. For internships, Vanaj Engineering Works and local companies like Gadre Marine and Adler Medical Equipment offered opportunities.
Infrastructure: The building was big, with classrooms and practical labs for every stream. Various labs for each subject had well-maintained equipment. The library was also good, with the latest business journals and daily newspapers. There was no Wi-Fi at that time. The hostel was also good, with four messes on campus, and the food quality was nice. The college campus had multiple buildings, including RMCET Degree College, RMP – Diploma College, MBA College, Library Building, Lord Ganpati Temple, Stationery shop, Clinic Hostels for girls and boys Canteen and mess, Gym, Ice cream parlor.
Faculty: Most teachers had completed their master's degrees and were also industry experts. The courses were practical-friendly and included internships and industrial visits. The difficulty level of the exams was moderate, but subject teachers helped students by providing practice questions.
Other: The course was very good and industry-oriented. It's not much improvement was needed, but I wanted to include a compulsory 6-month industry internship. Each department had to organize 2 events every semester. The college's annual event was well organized. Indoor and outdoor games, dance, and many other extracurricular activities were available. The fee were based on category. For open Rs. 43,000 for OBC Rs. 25,000 for minority Rs. 8,000. You had to submit the Aapale Sarkar Scholarship form, and the college clerk was helpful with the process.
