It's a very reputed college near me and very good from the past few years.

Placements: 70-80% of students got placed in my course. The highest package is 11 LPA in my course. Top companies like Oil India, APDCL, and many more hire students from my college. Students got internships from my college in my course. Roles offered are related to electrical work. Thank you.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available in my college like the library, workshop, sports room, good classrooms with AC available, and Wi-Fi on the college campus. Hostels are in very good condition, cleaned every day, and the mess for food is also available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, well-educated, and professional professors. Our college prepares us to be industry-ready; we are trained for working in the industry. It's not so difficult nor so hard; it's good for me. I am good in studies.

Other: I chose my course. The best thing is that it is easy for me. There is no need for any improvement. Events are very good, with more than 1,000 projects on campus.

It is a good college in Assam for a diploma in engineering.

Placements: About 60% of students were placed from our college. The salary offered was up to Rs. 30,000 per month. Top recruiters were Oil India and ONGC. Around 90% of students got internships. The top role offered was diploma engineer.

Infrastructure: Our college had good infrastructure but was still under construction. The campus was good. The hostel facilities were good. The food was average. Hostels provided good security. Water available in the hostel was also very good. Our college had digital classrooms. Wi-Fi was only for teachers. Laboratories were available with all the machines.

Faculty: Our faculty members were good, friendly, and highly educated. The teaching quality was excellent. The curriculum was relevant. About 95% of students passed. Semester exams were good. Question papers were not tough. Strict actions were taken when students committed malpractice during exams.

Other: It was a very good college. The fee structure was good.

Good placements, really good infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: About 100% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package was Rs.18000 per month, the lowest salary package was Rs.8000 per month and the average salary package was Rs.13000 LPA. There are 30% of the students who get an internship like OIL, IOCL, NRL, BCPL, Calicha, etc. The top roles are don't give up and be patient.

Infrastructure: There is no wi-fi in our times, but there are very good labs. Classrooms are very good with many facilities, the classrooms are smart with digital board or monitor, it has a library. Hostel facilities quality is good, the quality of food is also good, there are medical facilities, sports and games facilities also.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the student's industry ready. The semester exams in this college are not so difficult. The pass percentage is 100.

Other: I chose this course because of my childhood. I'm very fond of chemical reactions. The best things about our course are the chemical process and the interesting things and reactions of chemicals in the lab. If there are bigger laboratories on the campus then it would be so amazing. There are events like Xiworong, tech-fest, and campus crowd, the connectivity is so good. The campus is surrounded by flowers and strong walls. There is an NSP scholarship, there are many extracurricular activities, etc.

Can I get admission in MBA course at RGIPT without CAT score?

RGIPT allows admission without CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/CUET-PG score under two circumstances. First, you should be a company-sponsored candidate. Second, if you belong to part time registration category. You will still have to fulfil the remaining eligibility criteria.

Am I eligible for admission at RGIPT based on JEE (Advanced) Preparatory Rank?

You will not be eligible for admission as preparatory ranks are not considered under round 1. Since you have already qualified to appear for JEE (Advanced), all you need to do is meet the second criterion and apply for round 2, which will be only conducted if seats from round 1 remain vacant.

Am I eligible for BTech admission at RGIPT if I have not qualified JEE (Advanced)?

Yes, you can still get admission in Round 2 if you meet eligibility criteria to appear in JEE (Advanced) and have a valid JEE (Mains) rank. Also, you must have scored 60% or above in class 12th. For SC/ST/PwD category students, 55% or above is required.

RGIPT MBA admissions 2026 are closed, and 06th March 2026 (5.00 PM) was the last date to apply. The list of candidates shortlisted for PI was visible on 10th March 2026 on the official website. Results were declared on 17th March 2026, and the fee submission last date was 30th March 2026.
