Review of Ranaghat College.
Placements: My course is called Philosophy Honours, which is a very good subject. Many students get admitted to this course after completing honors. If you do an M.A., you have the opportunity to go into teaching; the salary in the teaching line starts from 30,000 to 50,000.
Infrastructure: My college has Wi-Fi connection in the classrooms and library, which gives us many benefits. Our college has a canteen where good food is available. Our college has a medical facility. If something happens to someone, they are given medicine from there. Our college has a big field where we sometimes play sports.
Faculty: In my philosophy honors course here, my teachers help me a lot. They take our exams every month, explain the subjects to us, and prepare us for our semester exams in college. Our semester exams are fairly difficult; our passing percentage is above 75%.
Other: I took this course because I don't like this subject anymore. As a result, I learned a lot from the beginning of my course, but I have no other words for it, so I will improve it. Everything from events to fests happens in our college.

Overall, our college is good in every aspect. I am happy to study at this college.
Placements: 20-30% of students have been placed in our course. The highest salary is 10 LPA - 15 LPA. The lowest salary is 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Reliance, Wipro, etc. The company reached our college in the placement campus, and many students joined it. 20-30% of students got internships at TCS, Wipro, Reliance, etc. Roles offered are manager and season head.
Infrastructure: All the things are available in our college that are on your list. Our college has no hostal, so this is a bad thing. Our college should improve this thing so I request our faculty to create a new hostel for long distance students who study well, that's all I want in my school.
Faculty: All things have our teachers. Our teachers are very kind and helpful. They have good knowledge of their subjects. Our course is very low relevant, and this course has no practical experience. Semester exams are of average difficulty. 40% is the passing mark.
Other: I chose this course because of my basic graduation, and it increases the value of our course.

A college where you can grow.
Placements: There were 225 students in our class. The basic package was around Rs. 4000 per year for everyone. No companies recruit students from our course, as it is the 1st step towards Honours. After completing Honours, students can pursue a Master’s in English Literature and apply for jobs, like teaching.
Infrastructure: There are 2 big classrooms for our department. Our professors have their rooms. We have a Wi-Fi facility but it is out of data and the library is lacking books for our course. College canteen provides good food most of the time. College union is helpful too.
Faculty: Only our department professors are so helpful and friendly. They let students feel like a family where they can learn, share, and grow. Our teachers also took students on educational trips and excursions. And our teachers also suggest books to read.
Other: There were so many students when I got into the department but now there are only around 150 students left. When it comes to fest our college really knows well how to celebrate it. Scholarships are provided if we get marks over 60%.
