Somaiya Scholarship:
The purpose of our Scholarships program is to further the human capital development of needy and deserving students, by supporting them to pay tuition fees so they can concentrate and excel in their academics without worrying about financial support.
Eligibility Requirements for all scholarships:
- Minimum college grade percentage should not be less than 80%
- Only Somaiya student from any institute doing part time/ full time course
- Total family income should be lower than 3 lakh
- Must be female of any Somaiya institution (for Women’s Scholarship)
- Must be Humanity (Arts) student of any of Somaiya institution ( for Meenakshi Rajan Scholarship)
- Candidate must be attending any diploma, full time or part time course (for Bharti Nanji Gala Scholarship)
- Must demonstrate proven financial need and be able to provide evidence of their financial accounts
- The candidate must have scored first class in the previous academic year.

Placements: Around 70% to 80% of B.Com students at SK Somaiya get placed. The highest package is around 7 LPA to 8 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA to 3 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Deloitte, and EY. Around 60% of students get internships in firms like KPMG and ICICI.
Placements: 60% and above students got placed. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest I don't know. Recruiting companies are Shriram Finance, ICICI Lombard, etc. Students got internships in the second year. The committee takes many seminars for students like a seminar on soft skills, corporate knowledge, LinkedIn profile making, B.Sc., etc.
Placements: Nearly 50% of students who applied got placed in our course. The highest package is 3.5 LPA. The lowest is 3 LPA. We have Vodaphone, Tensai, TFI, MoneyFrog, and other top recruiting companies for B.Com. 50% of students got placed. Most of them are in Tensai and IndiaFilings. Top roles are assistant manager, senior professor, etc.
Placements: I pursued and completed the course of Bachelor's in Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from this college. The percentage of placement in my course was around 75% because some of the students were pursuing other degrees after this course and were not looking for a job. The average package offered was 2.8 LPA, and the highest offered was around 5.4 LPA. Motilal Oswal, SBI Pension Fund, LIC India, BSE, and NSE were the companies involved in recruitment for the course. Around 20% of students were pla...
Placements: Some of the top recruiting companies are ITC Limited, Airtel, Amazon, Bisleri, EY, Mercedes Benz, etc. Around 75-80% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Around 75% of students get internships in our course in famous companies. Top roles offered are psychologist, counselor, etc.
Placements: SK Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science, and Commerce is a very average college for placements. Though companies like Infosys, etc., recruit from here, the percentage is very less. I will not recommend it in the case of placements. Other than that, it is surely a recommendable college.
