SIRT Bhopal has a Student Activity Cell which has 8 clubs in total that are led by the student body, Utkarsh Club, Manchan Club, Arjun Club, Discipline Club, Kalpana Club, Shikhar Club, Tarang Club, and Chalchitra Club. Apart from these clubs, the Institute has NSS and NCC that play a vital role in Institutional activities at SIRT Bhopal. There is an Entrepreneurial Development Cell (EDC) and there are Training and Placement (T&P) trainers.

Sagar Institute of Research & Technology Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, is spread across the land of 6.91 acres. The campus is under high security and camera surveillance vicinity. It is a co-ed Institute with smart classrooms, faculty rooms, auditoriums, libraries, laboratories, seminar halls, centers, and sports grounds. SIRT Bhopal can be considered famous for its BTech course. The Institute offers 1000+ seats in 16 specialisations with an eligibility criterion of aggregate marks from class 12 through the CBSE board or ISC / MPBSE. Apart from the class 12 aggregate marks, candidates must score in the JEE Main cut-off. An average package for a BTech graduate reaches INR 3.5 Lakh- INR 4.8 Lakh.

The SIRT Bhopal owns the approval of AICTE and contains the membership from IEEE and ACM. It also received rank 12 for being the best for its MBA/PGDM course as per the Business Today Ranked Colleges in Madhya Pradesh in 2023. According to India Today 2023, SIRT received the rank of 141 for the ‘Engineering (Private)’ category. The Institute marked INR 23 LPA as its the highest salary package with BTech as its flagship course. The institute provides 6.91 acres of campus with in-house facilities and a holistic curriculum for the students.

It is ranked 10 among the NIRF-ranked colleges in Madhya Pradesh for Btech, as of the year 2021. The Institute marked INR 21.7 LPA as its the highest package with a 90% placement rate. It offers a total of 6 programs such as BTech, BPharma, MBA, MTech, and MCA along with specializations and Diploma courses.

College life is good. There are several club activities happening every now and then. Academics are important but it is not the only part of this college.
