Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2019
1.0
I suggest you not to join in this college.
Placements: There are no placements in our college, and none of the companies visited here for placements. About 3-4 students went abroad for internships but on their own expenses. Some students did internships through our college, and none of the students is provided with internships. Our college conducts industrial visits a couple of times.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility inside the campus, and even in some parts, it is difficult to get a good network signal for mobiles. The overall infrastructure of our college is small and mediocre, and there are no many facilities. However, there is a lawn, and it is good. There is a volleyball or badminton field, which is neither made with concrete nor covered with grass as it just had mud. The food served is below average, and more than half of the students don't even eat in the mess.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good since our college is affiliated to Utkal University. Faculty members are the worst. Economics subject teacher just read from the textbook or PPTs and do time pass in the rest of the time and can't handle the students. Moreover, the economics subject teacher will easily get intimidated by students. A lot of faculty members left the college, and even the newly appointed principal and HOD left the college within months. Administrative staff members are the worst, and the accounting and registration office member is rude and ill-mannered. The library teacher hates the students and always don't treat them well.
Other: Events organised here are good, but there are issues that proper catering is not provided during a business conclave. The campus crowd is not good, and mostly, they speak in their local languages only. Any student can get admission here, even if their academic score is bad or they have a bad reputation. So, sometimes, students fought outside the college or inside the college during our computer practicals.

Infrastructure: The facilities of the hostel are the best part of the college which is like all-round development of the students in both academic and athletic activities which make you a better person in life and help you to live a great and experienced life with a beautiful future.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are the best part. The teachers are qualified from IIM like IIM Kozhikode and IIM Bangalore they help you in the all-round development of your living and future development which is the best part.

The college provides good infrastructure and good faculty.
Placements: There are no placements. But there should be placements so that the students get an outlook of the business world before doing an MBA and it gets easy for them to do their MBA. Usually, in MBA colleges, they ask for work experience. So if we get placements, it would be helpful for our growth.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There are good canteen and a good library. The food available at the canteen is good. Hostel rooms are average. I did not face any issue in the college during my tenure. Overall this college is good, and it organises sports function as well.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and supportive. They are highly qualified and well informed about the curriculum. They are supportive in every aspect of students' life. They conducted industrial trips and also an international trip so that we get outlook at the world and we can face obstacles in future.

Overall It is a good college.
Placements: Placements are not provided in the college. The only course is taught here, it is not affiliated to any company, nor any company visit here for their skill development programme, neither our senior batch had any programme, nor we are having, Internship is done for very few students that to non paid Internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good, full of greenery. The best part of the college is located in the outskirt. We have a proper and peaceful environment for studies. Hostel and classrooms are very clean, and they maintain hygienic food.
Faculty: Faculty members are best here. They are very polite and helpful, and good, but the accounts teacher is best. Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable if you have any doubts regarding subjects they will give extra time to students after classes to clear their doubts.
Other: Every year the college organises the biggest event named SICC Business Conclave in which minimum 5000 students are gathered.

Review of Sai International College of Commerce and Economics.
Placements: The college doesn't have a placement cell, and no placement was provided for the students of our batch, which was pathetic. Not even a single company visited the college to offer placements during our tenure in the college. Some students were placed through off-campus drives. The same was the scenario with most of the commerce colleges in Odisha.
Infrastructure: The campus was not Wi-Fi enabled. However, we could access the internet in the computer labs. The library was very good and more than 3000 books and magazines are available. There is a clinic, which is available round the clock. The college hostel was available inside the campus, and the canteen food was very good. Sports facilities were also very good, and very good football ground, basketball court, and volleyball court are available in the college.
Faculty: The faculty were very helpful and intelligent. Most of them were Masters qualified, and some of them were pursuing PhD. Teaching quality was good, but they followed only blackboard teaching. We had one industrial visit in every three months. Some of the companies which we visited are Indian Oil Refinery, IFFCO-Tokio, NTPC, Surf Excel Factory, biscuits factory, etc.

Good faculty. Infrastructure is okay. Events & co-curricular are good. Placements satisfactory.
Placements: Honestly, there were no placements from the college side. But yes, there were internships only given to 8-10 students out of 70. Others managed by their self, like I did. And internships are really important for a MBA student for from good company. Only summer internship for a month is allowed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay. There is no Wi-Fi in the campus. Sports and games are highly appreciated. Even co-curricular activities. Library is opened everytime. Classrooms are quite good with all time air conditioner facility. Food is okay, its just to fill your tummy. Hostel rooms are really good with air conditioned room bt only for time to time. At the hostel, the nurses or the warden will take u to the hospital. Day boarders will have parking facility and hostel students will have to board the college bus at the hostel itself. Inner gym is located in the feild of the college campus and at the hostel both.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful. They will give there best to teach you, if you show interest. Every teacher is qualified with one or other degree. Teachers are less in number but they will never say no for teaching anybody. There are also industry exposure in many places of Odisha. Trips have also taken place in India, like Rajasthan Trip, Madhya Pradesh Trip, Manali Trip, Delhi Trip, and many more.
Other: Scholarship are given to the students who performed good in there 12th board. Events like Business Conclave, Kala competitions, Debate competition, Dance competition, Music competition, Slogan competition, Modern United Nations (MUN), and sports like football, volleyball, NET ball, throw ball, Cricket will be there. Campus crowd would be okay.

Good placement with a decent experience.
Placements: A lot of students (around 89%) received placements mostly due to the schools popularity. The highest package which I know of was around 38lpa and the lowest was around 5lpa. Top recruiting companies were Tata and reliance. Almost everyone (98% received) internships from popular regional companies including Tata, reliance, SBI etc. Top roles offered were financial analyst, Junior account, insurance advisory, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities were very mid. The college itself was newly built and lacked proper infrastructure maintenance. The building walls were poorly maintained and had paint falling off of them. However different facilities like swimming pool, playgrounds and gym areas make up for the mistake of other areas. The quality of facilities that were maintained was very good and enjoyable. The food offered in the mess and canteen was decent, but lacked variety. Medical facilities and sports facilities were also average and was nothing more than one would expect.
Faculty: The faculty was extremely supportive and encouraging to the students. All the teachers were quite good in what they taught, but most of them had difficult teaching in English . The course curriculum was very nicely built to cater to every student's needs with 75 minds of each subject per day. There was also a very interactive learning experience involved. The semester exams were moderate difficult and one could easily have done well in these examinations with regular study of around 2 hours. The pass % was probably around 75%. .
Other: I chose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue a career as an investment banker. The course offers a lot of insight into financial management and helps a lot with growing into a very financially literature person. Things I wish would be better about this course are more practical based teaching. There were many events conducted in the college which really helped us unwind and allowed us to have fun. Extra curricular activities included lots of options for us to choose from such as : swimming, basketball, football, horse riding, etc.
