Very happy with my college, reasonable fees and excellent commited faculties good infrastructure

Placements: The first year students do not have any placements. Only the second year students have placements. The placements have not been complete. The companies are still recruiting only. Till now, about 25 percent of the students have been placed. The highest package is Rs 4.9 Lacs per year which is about 45000 per month. The lowest package is Rs 15000 per month and average package is Rs 30000 per month. About 30 companies have came to our college. Roles such as Marketing head, Assistant Manager, Sales head where given. The internship process is still going on. It is not fully completed. Yes, there is a placement cell. It is very efficient. They sort the companies and selected students are given chance according to the companies requirements. They inform different placement locations in other colleges and very effective in training the students for placement. Our college is proving special Training for the first year students for placements.

Infrastructure: There is continuous Wi-Fi in our college and if some issues occur is efficiently corrected within time. Our college is having centralised AC classrooms with OHP. Our college is the only college having Bloomberg Lab facilities in Kerala. There is a rest room for girls in college. We are having single room accommodation for MBA students with continuous free Wi-Fi. The quality of the food in our college is good. Yes. There was some problems in the AC cooling in one of the classroom but it was sought out and Wi-Fi facility in Boys hostel was a problem, it was also sought out.

Faculty: Yes the faculty members were helpful. Most of the faculty members have completed their Ph.D. . and some of them are in the process of getting their Ph.D. . and they are also having networks Iims and other big companies and institutions and they are knowledgeable. There teaching methods include presentations, Group discussions and use of Bloomberg labs. The student to faculty ratio is 1:50. Yes we got industry exposure. We visited Anna aluminium. The course curriculum is good but its manageable as we are having vast syallbus and we are having classes up to 6.00 pm which helps us get trained and adjusted before we enter into the corporate world.

Other: We are having Simthesis, Simfest, Simbells for christmas and Simgaala. We are having associations with various chapters. We are having greener surroundings and chapel is also there within our campus. W e are having a lot of scholarship based on merit also. Our college is conducting sports within the juniors and seniors and paper presentations in other colleges. We are also having common mentoring sessions where we showcase our talent. There is also Business news reading sessions where our seniors take presentations on the latest news.

Placements: The institution offers great placement opportunities for students. The salary package offered is very high. More than 80% of the students got placed through campus placements. Some others chose to be entrepreneurs, and some took up their family business. Roles offered may vary according to the specialisation of students, but the managerial profile was offered mostly. The placement cell works wholeheartedly to provide the best opportunities for students.

Infrastructure: The college has a state-of-the-art infrastructure with no compromise on facilities provided to students. Internet facilities are available in the college and hostels. Smart class facilities are provided. World-class theatre classrooms are provided with a plug-and-play facility for each student, and they are Wi-Fi and LAN enabled. The LCD screen, E-Board and audio systems are also provided. The college has a library with innumerate online and offline resources. Food provided in the canteen is very good. Hostel rooms are well-equipped.

Faculty: Professors in our college are well-qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. Most of them have completed their education from leading IIMs, and many possess PhD degree. Teachers use lecture mode, interactive and role play methods for teaching. Case study analysis is done timely. The course curriculum is so designed to meet the educational needs of budding managers.

Other: Our college hosts several mega events. SIMthesis is a national level management fest in which students from different colleges participate in different competitions. Students in SIM drive the cultural club, sports club and entrepreneurship development club and are supported by the faculty. They organise various innovative and high-quality programs. These activities are helpful to bring the best out of each student.

Absolutely satisfied with the college because of high quality teaching and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. The placement cell in our campus is a boon to the college. More than 90% of the students were placed last year. Placement season for the current batch has already started. The highest salary package offered until now is 8 LPA. The college offers many pre-placement offers through internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. Our college provides free Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms look like amphitheatres with the best working environment. Students can interact with faculty members through transition spaces. The college has an excellent library which offers educational as well as other books, and the library can be accessed at any time. Our college encourages sports and games. We have sports clubs, cultural clubs, etc., to conduct activities.

Faculty: We have industrial visits every semester. The course curriculum is useful and has a practical approach. Faculty members are really helpful and knowledgeable. Most of them have doctorates. Teachers are very compassionate, and students can interact with them for any help at any time.

Other: Our college conducts a nation-wide management fest. Along with that, many other events such as HR conclaves, Simfest, etc., are also conducted. The college also encourages students to participate in many external activities to get exposure.

A place that makes students corporate ready.

Placements: A lot of companies are visiting the college offering equal chances for the students who are interested in finance, marketing and operations. Almost 70% of the students are getting placed in companies like Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, Naukri.Com, HDFC AMC, E&Y, South Indian Bank and Catholic Syrian Bank. The highest salary package offered is 9.60 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.50 LPA. Almost 45% of the students got placed in the companies they have done internships in. There is a placement team which guides students in preparing for aptitude and interviews.

Infrastructure: The college is well-versed with good investment in the library, Wi-Fi and Bloomberg lab. Classrooms are good and air-conditioned. The college is promoting students who are interested in sports especially cricket, football, table tennis, badminton, etc. Quality of food available in the canteen can be compared to homemade food. Single-sharing rooms are provided with free Wi-Fi facilities for MBA students.

Faculty: Faculty members help us to see what exactly the corporate world is. They make us understand discipline and time management. They help us to know our goals, weaknesses and strengths. A mentoring session is conducted for each student to guide them in the right way.

Other: SIMS conducts a national level management fest called Simthesis each year. Industry visits are conducted, and various scholarships are provided.

Placements: The college has an excellent and effective placement cell. Their active work has led to a very good placement rate in the past years. I am a student of the 2017-2019 batch. I am well satisfied with the placements provided by the college till now.

Infrastructure: The college has an excellent and pleasing infrastructure. It is well- maintained and improved. The infrastructure is very adaptive for students, and the campus is peaceful. The college is located in a hilly area which is far away from the city. This location gives a great positive vibe to the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly qualified, and most of them have completed their PhD. All the subjects are well-handled by the faculty members. They are always approachable by students. Faculty members act as mentors for students, and they play an effective role in boosting students' ideas and make sure that students build their career by themselves.

Placements: Companies like Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, Flipkart, Bata, Naukri, etc., conducted recruitment drives in the college which provided placements to capable students in respective positions. Federal Bank offered the highest salary for the post of probationary officer where the take-home pay was around Rs. 40,600 per month. Some students are still working in the same companies where they got placed through the campus recruitment process a long time back, and this shows the standard of placements provided by the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is outstanding and includes excellent facilities including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, canteen, hostel, etc. Saintgits is one of the few colleges which is associated with Bloomberg to have a lab facility. Students are provided with free Wi-Fi facility inside the college and hostel. There is an SBI branch in front of the campus including an ATM facility which helps the students to do convenient transactions. Theatre classrooms include A/C, projector, Wi-Fi, rotating chairs, etc., which give students a new classroom experience where they get trained to adapt to a similar corporate environment in the future. Students are given daily newspapers including Economic Times, Business Line and Business Standard for free. The college has a good library with a very good collection of books, journals, and other materials. Boys and girls are provided with separate hostels. They have separate buildings for both normal and international hostels facilities. There are single, attached and shared rooms in the hostels. The food and accommodation provided are excellent compared to other colleges in Kerala. MBA graduates are allowed flexible timings to enter the hostel which suits the curriculum. The college has a very good canteen which provides excellent services. Other than that, there are coffee shops inside the campus. There are necessary gadgets available in shops nearby. There are private bus services to Kottayam and Changanassery from 6 am to 6 pm. Direct bus service is available to the railway station which is quite a few kilometres away. Auto rickshaws are available at any time.

Faculty: The college has very good faculty members, including PhD holders and research associates. They are approachable at any time as there are chances for students to do research papers with them and get their good articles published in famous journals. Most of the faculty members are mentors too and give timely guidance and assistance to students.

Other: The college gives high importance to extracurricular activities along with the course curriculum. SIMTHESIS is a national level management fest conducted by the college where students are the coordinators and get more exposure of conducting an event. SIM Fest is the internal fest where students get an opportunity to show their hidden talent including cultural activities. SIMGala is the carnival conducted by students where they get chance to put different stalls and earn profits. There are also sports competitions like cricket, badminton, etc. Scholarships are provided to the eligible students in all trimesters.
