I am satisfied with my college and the faculty members are also professional and caring.
Placements: It is not possible for every student to get a placement, but students with skills, adaptability, and communication get placements easily. Companies like Amazon and Flipkart visit the college and offer internships and placements. They may hire you as an HR or an employee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is spacious. Classrooms are spacious and clean with desks. A proper mic and speaker are placed. Our classrooms have big windows and air conditioners. Our library is also spacious, and it includes fiction and non-fiction books. A separate reading room is also there. Medical facilities are available in our college. There is a sister who takes care of you when you are sick. They supply medicine if it is needed and bandages if you are injured or something.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are professional and friendly. They are very helpful and caring. They take care of each student in case of study or personal problems. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The way of teaching is also good and ethical. Our semester examinations are not difficult because if you study well, you can achieve good marks. Now our college is autonomous.
Other: I chose this course because I love to read books and literature. I want to study literature and the history of literature and so our course is teaching us the history of literature and how it came to our life. Events and fests happen regularly in our college which is good for curricular activities. The main event of Solution College Siliguri is innovation which takes place in March. It is an intra-college competition that includes dance competitions, singing, solo dancing, fashion show faces, painting competitions, etc.

I'm very satisfied to have chosen this college; they even provide with you other organizations.
Placements: Basically, we are offered internship programmes where we give interviews for different companies, get enlisted through our performances and if we get selected for more than one company, we get a choice to prioritize it for ourselves and then put in our efforts for it.
Infrastructure: We are given smart classes in a healthy environment in the college, where the faculty are educated and provide us with the best knowledge. Even our college canteens are very clean, and we are provided with the best libraries and drinking water facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are Ph.D. holders; they are very helpful and make sure that we are up to date with our attendance and engaged in everything and every event. Till now, in our classes, the highest SGPA is 8 and the teachers even held counselling sessions for those students who are irregular.
Other: I am doing Sociology Hons and I chose this subject for my own benefit and understanding .

Good environment, good infrastructure.
Placements: Talking about placements, it's not quite good. I have not seen students getting any placement. Since I have not seen anyone getting placements I don't think the college has any package. The college does offer a Masters degree but placements are not something the college will offer you.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top notch with large classrooms, smart boards, Wi-Fi, labs and everything one can think of. The hostel is not quite good as there is a small room which 4 people have to share. The hostel food is not good but the canteen food in college is good as they have a wide variety. There is a medical room and sports room and a gym as well.
Faculty: The teachers are super helpful clearing all doubts one comes across. The exams are affiliated to nbu and one can say that the exams are not so difficult and the pass percentage is 40. The teachers are quite knowledgeable. Some teachers teach well, while some don't. And we all know this happens in all educational institutions.
Other: The college has lots of extra curricular activities which make it super fun. The college does provide scholarship.

Review of Salesian College.
Placements: In this college, very less students get placed. The local companies visit our campus to hire students. Around 5-10% of students get internships in our college. The top roles offered are professor and assistant. The placements percentage is very low in this college.
Infrastructure: Students have very good infrastructure in our college. It provides a big classroom with the required laboratories. Our college has Wi-Fi on the campus. Students also have two story libraries with separate wings for different departments. Students also have a big college group, sports room, medical room, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in this college. They are well qualified in their course and completed their PhDs in their respective courses. They complete the syllabus in time and it is very relevant to the curriculum. Semester exams are difficult.
Other: It is good to take geography because it provides a vast amount of job opportunities. It should be more practical based rather than fests, and other activities.

It is a good college and provides quality education.
Placements: Many students got already placed in the final year and many students are going through the process of recruitment. The college placements are good enough. Organisations recruited our students for the internship program and quite enough students got internships and are placed in those companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is fine and the environment is very good. Everyone is so friendly to each other and helpful in nature. Hostels are good and very enjoyable. Everyone including the staff is very cooperative. The food served in the mess is fine.
Faculty: The course curriculum is related to our overall development. We are so delighted of having such wonderful teachers. They are so knowledgeable and very good. They are open-minded always and ready to help students.

Our college provides a really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide any placements. Students opt for further studies after their graduation as this college doesn't provide any job opportunity. Since our college doesn't provide job facilities, students are guided by the faculty members.
Infrastructure: It is a well-maintained college with good infrastructure. All the facilities are good, but there is no Wi-Fi facility for students. The library facility is very good, and there are three canteens which provide good quality food. Sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They also help us in preparing for our job interviews. They also give instructions to perform in front of any interviewer. I am happy to be a part of this college because teachers are not only helpful but also friendly.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placements were excellent for our senior batch, and we are expecting better opportunities with a satisfactory salary. Various companies visited the college for placements. The internships are good as various roles were offered to the students. The students are really happy with the placements.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library and sports. The college also provides good medical facilities. Most of the classrooms on the campus are digital classrooms. The food provided in the canteen is satisfactory. The students actively participate in the sports and other activities.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful as well as friendly. The quality of teaching is very good and easily understandable. The teachers provide us with useful notes for the final exams. The libraries also play a major role as a source of providing education. There is a healthy relationship between students and teachers.
Other: The college organises the events frequently. The college conducts fests, and different colleges also participate in it. The campus surrounding is also clean and healthy.

The college itself is good and the placements gives are also good.
Placements: Well, the students there are all intelligent, and some are more focused on sports as they are sports students. The college professors focus on the students to prevent them from getting poor marks and failing. Students get placements in companies like Amazon, Montana, etc.
Infrastructure: Well I personally don't live in a hostel but I guess the facilities there are good as it is a hostel of a private college. The boys and girls categories are also sperated so it's cool. The fees is also reasonable plus it comes with security. The hostel might be the right choice for those who only want to study.
Faculty: The faculty is great. The classes are clean and open, and the library has a wide variety of books that every student has access to. The professors are also excellent, as they guide the students well, unlike in some colleges where the professors don’t even give lectures.
Other: The activities are great and also fun, every students enjoy it.

Yes, even if you are from Odisha you are still eligible to apply to Salesian College. Since English is the primary language of instruction, learning Bengali should not have a major impact on your academic performance. Bengali may be used in regular conversations but knowing a few fundamental phrases
