It is a good decision for me to choose this college with best reading environment.
Placements: About 80-95% of students are placed from our college. Our students are getting salary packages of 3 LPA - 8 LPA. Our seniors are placed in companies like IFFCO, National Fertilizer Limited, etc. Some students are placed in the government sector and some have created their own start-ups. During graduation from B.Sc. (Hons) in agriculture, we learn crop production, protection, and extension.
Infrastructure: Our college was started in 2009 but 1st batch started in 2014. So our college is not fully developed but work is going on to develop our campus gradually. Departments are well-equipped with our requirements for graduation. Wi-Fi is limited to library, laboratory, and classrooms. Labs are well-equipped with the machines we require. The classrooms also have a digital board, air-conditioners, and generator for power backup. Our library has sufficient books for each student. Hostel facilities are also good with two boarders in a room. It is a well-maintained room and has enough space for two persons. Food quality is also good. We get 6 days of non-vegetarian food in a week. The canteen is placed at the center of our academic buildings and it is a nice place to sit during class breaks. 24*7 emergency service (ambulance) is available on our campus. Our college is nearly 8 kilometres from Chapar PHC and 23 kilometres from Bongaigaon district hospital. Sports like football, cricket, discus through, shot put through, javelin throw, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, carrom, and many more games are played on our campus.
Faculty: Every teacher in our college is helpful and well qualified. Mostly 80% of faculty members are Ph.D. holders and are very knowledgeable in their fields. Their teaching quality is very good except 2-3 teachers but they possess very deep knowledge. Our course is professional course. So student ready programme is also included. Our semester exam is between moderate and difficult. The pass percentage of our college is nearly 90-100% but it depends upon the question paper.
Other: Agriculture is not only a profession, it is our culture. One of the best quotations by Jawaharlal Nehru is "Everything else can wait, but not agriculture". Now you can guess why I am here. If I could change in agriculture course, first I would remove mathematical part from it. I hate this topic. Most of the students fails only in mathematics. Our college is about 3 kilometers from the national highway. Events like cultural fest, freshers, social, ACM (Annual college meet), etc., are also celebrated. Only 44 students gets chance every year in our college. So campus crowd is not so much. Scholarships like Ishan Udai and NEC scholarships are given to top students through various scholarship programs. Our campus is located in the Rangamati area. It is basically a village. People are so simple and liberal. Champabati river is very close to our college.

Q:   Can I become an Agricultural Entrepreneur after B.Sc Agriculture?
    A:

Of course, Agriculture and allied sector not only remained insulated from economic slowdown or pandemic but has registered better growth than other sectors. Other industries have faced the problem of downsizing during a pandemic but the agriculture sector remained aloof from lay-offs, pay cuts and forced resignations. There will never be a downturn or slow down when it comes to feeding the world population.
