Bachelor of Technology (B Tech full form) is an undergraduate engineering degree awarded to you after the course completion. The duration of B.Tech course is four years. You need to have PCM subjects in Class 12 with minimum 55-75% aggregate marks that may vary on the basis of the institution. Some fields offer an exception where you do not necessarily need Mathematics as a core subject, it is less common though.

Candidates who pursue BTech in Lateral Entry can complete this course in three years. Lateral Entry BTech is offered to candidates after they have completed Diploma course in a relevant engineering field after which they can enter into B.Tech course straight into second year. While each college has its own selection procedure for B Tech candidates, in general, you must fulfill the following requirements:

Ace the JEE Main examination.

India's national entrance exam for undergraduate engineering programs is called JEE Main. The minimum percentile needed for admission to a B.Tech programme varies by college, but it usually falls between 80 and 90 percentile and for prestigious NIT's is above 95 percentile .

The minimum percentile for courses differe from college to college and top tier colleges require higher percentile for any courses, There are caste reservations also in those seats, as there are limited seats available in colleges and the participating competition the seats are very hard to get without proper hardwork .

Fulfill the grade 12 requirement. A minimum average percentage of marks (usually between 75 and 80%) on your 12th grade exams is required by most colleges.
Engage in the process of counseling. You will be required to take part in the counseling process after you have satisfied the eligibility requirements. You will select the courses and colleges of your choice here.

The SOA - School of Aeronautics, offers AME courses in two different specializations including Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and Integrated B.Tech. in Aeronautical Engineering + Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME). The duration of the course is 2 to 5 years. The total tuition fee for the AME courses is between INR 5.51 Lacs to INR 9.2 Lacs (for 2-5 years).

No, it is not hard to get admission at School of Aeronautics Neemrana. The admission is based on the entrance exams conducted by the SoA. Students may need to clear a PI round/ written test, depending on the number of applications received. For admission in SOA Neemrana BTech course, aspirants need to take the School of Aeronautics Common Entrance Test (SOACET). The entrance test is conducted on national-level.
