School of Aeronautics, Neemrana was established in the year 2006. School of Aeronautics, Neemrana is approved by AICTE / Director General of Civil Aviation and is affiliated to RTU. For admission to Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course, aspirants have to take the SOA Common Entrance Test. This national-level exam is conducted nationwide at the SOA centres. Aspirants who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria can apply through the school official website. Moreover, the entrance exam include MCQ questions and the question paper is divided into three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

The candidates who meet the below-mentioned criteria are eligible for admission in SOA Neemrana BTech lateral entry programmes:

• Students with a three years Diploma in Engineering in the relevant stream (i.e. Diploma in Mechanical, Production & Industrial, Electronics & Communication, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Telecommunication Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering) are eligible. The qualifying exam further should have been passed with a minimum of 45% aggregate. 
• In addition, the aspirants who have passed BSc degrees with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum of 45% aggregate can also apply for admission. 

The enrollment capacity for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (A.M.E.) at SOA - School of Aeronautics is indeed 108 students, that would be the specific number for the program's capacity. 

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech course in SOA university, candidates shall have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks  (50% in case of SC / ST / OBC category) and obtained at least 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

The SOA - School of Aeronautics, offers AME courses in two different specializations including Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and Integrated B.Tech. in Aeronautical Engineering + Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME). The duration of the course is 2 to 5 years. The total tuition fee for the AME courses is between INR 5.51 Lacs to INR 9.2 Lacs (for 2-5 years).
