No, Bharathiar University Distance Education does not provide a refund of fees if a student wishes to cancel or withdraw his/her admission. The official website states that if a student wishes to leave the programme before completion, such candidates is not entitled to a refund of paid service fees. In case a refund is approved at the discretion of the Management, then the amount is sent via the debit/credit card used for the original transaction.

Only for learning, the college is okay.
Placements: The placement is not the main focus or is not that great. Only a handful of people get one and the highest package was around 4 lacs for the students who got placed, which was around 20% for them. The average package was about 2 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Not that great support for infrastructure is present; whether we talk about timely delivery of material or other resources, the time taken is quite long, and along with that, the internet and other facilities are also very poor. The hostels are also okay-ish.
Faculty: The faculty members are okay but the teaching style is quite traditional, with the focus being on theoretical knowledge and when it comes to practical exposure, that is not very supportive. The curriculum learning-wise is okay but when it comes to industry, it lacks the practical part.

Opportunities are good and so is the experience.
Placements: More than 80% of students have been placed at the college. The highest package that was offered was around 8 lacs per annum and the lowest did fall to only 3 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies include mostly banks and a few others, like TCS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good we have a spacious classroom and we have a good auditorium and seminar halls. We do have a computer lab and a well-maintained library. We have Wi-Fi access present in the hostel as well. The mess food is good for a few days.
Faculty: The curriculum is very relevant, and along with the course work, various orderly industry interactive seminars and workshops also happen, which help us understand recruiters and industry needs. We have faculty members with good years of working experience in the industry along with teaching and the teacher-student ratio is also good.

M.Com is my favorite course.
Placements: To be very honest, the college has a good placement percentage because almost all the students in our batch get placed, before or after, and the average package keeps fluctuating, and the number of companies has also grown in the past, making the recruitment process smoother.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is something that you will fall in love with because of the atmosphere and the lush green surroundings, making college life blissful. Also, the amenities in our hostel are almost everything at our disposal and fingertips.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are really good, and they give their 100%. Also, they prepare and help us in becoming industry-ready by the end of the academic year. The semester exams are not that difficult to crack and can be easily done just by studying a few days before.

The material and topics are very good.
Placements: The highest package offered is around six Lacs per annum, whereas the average did fall to 2.5 Lacs per annum. The placement rate during our time was around sixty percent, and the companies included banks, with the majority of roles offered by CTS, TCS, and Pricol, which were other big recruiters.
Infrastructure: The classroom infrastructure and other areas are quite good. Since it was a distance learning course, only the virtual tour of the campus was done by me. The hostel area and other supports like medical and sports were available, so based on that, the infrastructure is quite good.
Faculty: The professors at our university are very experienced and knowledgeable, having a good teaching style, and they try to explain everything very nicely. The curriculum is very relevant to that of the industry trends, which equips students with practical knowledge and skills that are required.

Placements: The college has an overall placement percentage of approximately 60% - 70%, the college is not doing good in terms of placing its students because there is no separate cell for the placement which is making the placement process organized and cumbersome.
Infrastructure: The facilities overall provided in the hostel are the same as those of other colleges and universities in our state, the hostel food is great and unique because we have our menu changed now and then which makes the hostel food peaceful and really great.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are from parts of the country and each one of them has a unique blend of knowledge in their respective domain areas and also they have a great subject knowledge which helps us students to clear our doubts on a day to day basis.
