BCA in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2027
4.4
The college is more than expected. Faculty members, infrastructure, hostel, and sports are amazing.
Placements: To be honest, the BCA in AI course at this university has been there for a long time, but students haven't enrolled in it until now. Our batch (2024-27) is the first to take this course at ASU. We don't have much exposure to M.Ch. placements, but since our course falls under the School of Engineering and Technology (SOET), there are good placement opportunities for B.Tech students.
Infrastructure: I must say our infrastructure. Since our course is technical, we are provided with very advanced labs, including Oracle labs, IOS labs, and hands-on practical digital labs. Our classrooms are air-conditioned, and we have a large library that contains all the latest academic books, novels, theses, and research corners. The entire campus has Wi-Fi connectivity. As I am the hostel president, I would say the best part of the hostel is the sports and games facilities, such as badminton courts, a basketball court, a cricket ground, and a volleyball court. The food is good, but the medical facilities could be better.
Faculty: The overall faculty on campus is good, but especially in my department (SOET), the facilities are very helpful. They teach us very well and offer extra classes when needed. Our university also offers liberal arts courses under the NEP curriculum. Overall, the studies here are excellent, with equal emphasis on theory and practicals. Regarding semester exams, they are fair and easy if students study; they include only material from the syllabus. The passing percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose BCA (AI this) because I have an interest in coding and there is a lot demand of for AI in the market. The best thing about this course is, that we update and upgrade ourselves by the time with the technology. About the events, there is an annual fest in our college named ELAAN, which is organized every year. They organise a talent hunt every year. The campus crowd is decent. The surroundings are the best part—greenery everywhere. Scholarships are available based on the 12th-grade percentage and ASU entrance exam scores. There are so many club to join for extracurricular activities

University for Future, which aims to provide future ready students .
Placements: In my course, 70%of students get placement from the college. The lowest package was 4 LPA. 80% of students get internships from my batch The placement head provides proper classes for resume building and personal growth and is very supportive and helpful.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good but not that much modern. The infrastructure needs to be upgraded. The labs are good and the internet connectivity is also good here. Wi-Fi is available The hostel is the best here with the best food and environment.
Faculty: The faculty here is very helpful and supportive in terms of papers or notes. They are very down to earth as they care for each student personally and provide every help possible in terms of everything.

Apeejay stay university review .
Placements: Placements were very good here. 90% of the students got placed at my branch. I am a student pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering here. I got placed in CarDekho as an intern at CarDekho for the role Backed developed from here itself.
Infrastructure: The course was good, but not up to the current time period. But the faculty is very helpful here, which will teach you the chapters and also help out with the current scenario and situation here. Wi-Fi is available all the time with good-speed connectivity.
Faculty: The faculty is very knowledgeable and helpful, and the quality of the faculty is very good. Side by side, they teach us about the current trend in the industry sector for our betterment in our future lives here. Exams are conducted very well here and are conducted on a regular basis, which helps the students focus on their studies.

Q:   Is the PhD CSE coursework very tough?
A:

This depends on your interest and passion for the field of computer and technology and everybody will have different viewpoints regarding the same. The syllabus that you find tough might be very easy to understand for the other person, who has a lot of learning potential and interest for computer technology, hardware and software system applications. For example, you may find Computational Algebra and Data Structures very tough because of the high mathematical aptitude and analytical approach that it deals with. But, for some other person, it might be easy to study.

Having said that, going for a PhD in any discipline has to be a very conscious decision as it takes up a lot of your time and energy. You should be very sure about your future plans and have a strong research aptitude to be able to get through the entire doctoral course duration.

I am satisfied only with the faculty members.
Placements: About 70% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies like CarDekho, Wipro, etc., visit our campus for placements. Top roles, like a developer, intern, etc., are offered to the students. I don't know about the salary package offered in our course. Almost 80% of the students from our course got an internship in companies like CarDekho, Microsoft and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility available in our college is just average. Labs are good, and libraries are also good. Food served in the hostel is average. Sports facilities are good. Medical facilities are average. Food served in the canteen is also good.

Achieve dreams with the great support of faculty.
Placements: So far the placements of my seniors and the current batches are tremendous. The students get an opportunity to worked in DRDO, Wipro and many well-known companies. The main focus of the placement cell is totally in startup companies. 80 percent students get placed in multinational companies. The highest package was 15 lakhs and the average package was 5 lakhs. There are many companies like Tommy Fringers, Virtuous Solutions and Birla Life Insurance. The students are also given an opportunity for off-campus selections and as well as they can apply online and the recommendation letters are provided to each individual. The students get the role in their specific interest. For instance, I got an opportunity to work in DRDO as a research intern in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Some of the students having an interest in programming were interns in Accenture. The average stipend provided to the student is 15000 rupees per month. Overall, the placement cell helps and supports a lot and never demotivated students to reach to their dream job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is good. Medical Facilities are provided for 24 hours and if the student is in serious condition than an individual is taken immediately to the hospital for the fruitful treatment to be provided to the individual. Sports faculty members are there who provide all the equipment which the student wants. The most played games in our university are football, table-tennis and cricket. The quality of classrooms is awesome. The teaching is been done in a digital format through presentations and real-life examples which develop the interest in the student and they can understand the things very quickly. The quality of food available in the canteen is the best. Most importantly, the food is hygienic and healthy. The labs have been reconstructed to make it better. There is Cloud Computing lab where the students are provided with the AWS services and as well as they can work on research. The hostel rooms are not so good. Due to the lack of renewal, students do not value the things provided to them. Except for the hostel infrastructure, I am completely happy with the campus infrastructure.
Faculty: I am honoured to get a golden opportunity and have such cooperative and supportive faculty members. They motivate the students who are facing difficulties to understand the particular concepts. Special tutorial classes are organised to clarify the doubts. If the students are interested in research in a particular field, then they help the students. The faculty members are not having a book-based knowledge. They explain the concepts by taking real-life examples. Students do not learn the things as they are required to read and make the notes what they able to understand which helps the students to gain advance knowledge. The course curriculum was also different which provides the students to choose the subjects of their own choice and the concept of liberal arts is involved which also helps the students to gain knowledge in different sectors. This helps in their overall development.
Other: The university basically focuses on the improvement of students. They provide the platform to explore in different domains. The students are provided great support and the students get an opportunity to work for companies like Microsoft, Redhat, Google and DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation).
