CUET Subject Mapping 2026 for B.Sc. was released by the National Testing Agency at cuet.nta.nic.in. Students planning to take admission to B.Sc. or B.Sc. (Hons) in the specialization of their choice can now check the subjects required to be eligible for counselling. The NTA Universities page includes CUET 2026 subject combinations for all offered courses by CUET colleges. National Testing Agency (NTA) has restarted CUET 2026 registration for UG admissions today. Candidates can now apply for the exam and registration fee by February 26, 2026. NTA will not open the correction window after closing of window. CUET 2026 will be conducted from May 11 to May 31 in CBT mode. Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. courses must know their target university's specific eligibility criteria and subject requirement. More than 200 universities, including central, state, private, government and deemed universities offer admission to B.Sc. course in multiple specializations through Common University Entrance Test. The UG subjects required, along with course eligibility criteria for each offered course is released by participating universities on their official website and NTA CUET UG official website. Students who wish to pursue their dream by studying B.Sc. or B.Sc. (H) in field of their choice must have a knowledge of what subjects are compulsory.

- Choosing subjects that are irrelevant to their desired course.
- Not reviewing the specific requirements of their preferred university.
- Overlooking the general test, which is mandatory for some universities.
Go on the official website of university/organaisation. Check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university from the following sections:
- Section I - 13 Languages
- Section II - 23 Domain Specific Subjects
- Section III - General Test
From CUET UG 2026 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th.
For pursuing B.Sc. through the CUET exam, candidates typically need to select science-related domain subjects depending on their desired field of study. Key subjects often include:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology (for life sciences)
- Mathematics (for physical sciences)
- Environmental Science (for interdisciplinary studies)
In addition to domain subjects, candidates must choose one language from the list of 13 available languages, and may also opt for the general test, if applicable. Ensure that subject mapping aligns with the B.Sc. programme requirements of your preferred university.

CUET 2026 will be held in two slots. The timing for the same is released with release of CUET 2026 admit card. Candidates can know the exam centre and timing along with the release of CUET 2026 admit card. NTA is expceted not to release the official CUET 2026 date sheet. Candidates can check their subject-wise CUET exam date and slot timings on CUET intimation slips and admit card.
On the day of CUET exam, candidates must report at alloted exam centre one hour before the given time. Candidates must make sure to carry the following items are CUET exam centre:
- Print copy of CUET UG 2026 hall ticket with self declaration (undertaking)
- Ball point pen
- Additional passport size photograph (same as uploaded in online form)
- Any one authorized identity card- School Identity Card/ PAN card/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/E-Aadhaar with photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph
- PwD/PwBD certificate issued by authorized medical officer
- Diabetic candidate can carry Sugar tablets/Fruits like Banana/Apple/Orange
CUET UG 2026 datesheet is released soon after the registration process is over. Candidates can check their CUET 2026 exam schedule on their intimation slip or admit card also. CUET UG 2026 exam will be held in CBT mode. Last year, NTA did not release the official CUET examination schedule, however, candidates can check the schedule for applied subjects on their admit cards, when released. To appear for CUET UG exam, candidates must make sue to follow the below mentioned dress code:
- Candidates must not wear long sleeve clothes.
- Candidates wearing cultural/customary dress must report at the CUET exam centre one hour before the reporting time.
- Candidates must wear slippers or sandals with low heels. Shoes will not be permitted inside exam centre.
- In case of any circumstances, candidates must take the approval of NTA before the release of CUET admit card.
CUET UG English 2026 exam will be scheduled tentatively between May and June 2026. NTA has not released the official CUET UG 2026 datesheet online. On release of the official CUET admit card, candidates can know the subject wise CUET exam dates and slot timings. Candidates can also check the exam date, time and slot number.
National Testing Agency is expected to release the CUET UG datesheet 2026 by mid April 2026. The CUET datesheet 2026 PDF will be available at cuet.nta.nic.in. Last year, NTA did not release the official CUET UG datesheet, however this year it is expected to release the detailed CUET schedule 2026.
CUET UG exam is conducted in Computer-Based Test Mode. The examination is scheduled in multiple slots depending on the number of registrations for CUET. In this mode of examination, candidates are required to appear for exam online and answer the questions on deskptop with the help of mouse.

No, CUET is not compulsory for admissions in the institute. The UG admissions are based on Class 12 marks. Students have to fill the application form on the Rajasthan University official website. The university allocates seats in all courses on the basis of merit scores.
