The law department under MG University, which is a premier institution for studying law.
Placements: There are several alumni as Judges at various courts and famous lawyers. Many prominent politicians also came from our campus, including now MLAs and a former minister. As a government-owned institution and ranked A+ by NAAC, it has its own merit, including certificate value.
Infrastructure: Great campus, including all the facilities like moot court, mediation cell, ADR Hub, IQUAC Cell, free Wi-Fi, one of the biggest law libraries in the state, and a computer lab. Hostel facility available at MG University main campus, which is 5km away. Many PG facilities are available nearby.
Faculty: The courses offered are UG, BBA, LLB (Hons.), a 5-year. For PG LLM (IPR, CYBER) 2 years. They hold PhD, and many permanent faculty members are known for their works in the field. Exams are conducted semester-wise. BBA and LLB follow the C&SS Scheme. There's moot court/ mediation and management fests conducted for the development of students
Other: I chose this course out of passion, and SILT is one of the premier institutions that provides this course. As the research department of MG University, it's not crowded like any other law colleges, so the bond between all the teachers and students is very strong. The campus is ragging-free and has a functioning grievance redressal system. Also provides counseling for students who need the help of clinical psychologists.
