Assessing the placement statistics of the School of Law at UPES and Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) Silvassa, each exhibits positive outcomes; however, some distinctions exist.GNLU Silvassa: According to the NIRF 2024 report, GNLU Silvassa recorded an impressive placement for its BA LLB (Hons) batch, with 163 students placed at a median salary of 16 lakh? per annum. In the case of the LLM program, a total of 52 students were placed which paid a median salary of 6 lakhs. GNLU Silvassa has a placement cell which helps them in securing internships and job offers in diversified sectors including law firms, NGOs and government bodies, among others.In the context of the School of Law, UPES: UPES placement statistics are encouraging as well, with no less than 100% placement attained in recent years. In the year 2023 placement, there were 250 students from the School of Law of UPES and the highest package was INR 12.5 Lacs per annum while the average salary was about INR 7.25 lakhs. The university attracts towards itself specific pool of employers because it is well connected to the industry with a focus on energy and infrastructure law.To sum up, GNLU Silvassa seems to provide better median salary for law graduates as compared to UPES, especially in the undergraduate program.

The seat allotment is done based on the aspirant's scores in the ULSAT/LSAT/CLAT exam or in the last qualifying exam.
