Great college for law aspirants with excellent infrastructure and industry exposure.
Placements: A significant percentage of students from my batch were placed, especially those who actively participated in internships and extracurricular activities. Top recruiters included Dentons Link Legal, JSW, Tata, Hero, etc. The highest package offered was around 11 LPA, the average ranging between 4 to 5 LPA. Internship opportunities were available from the end of 1st year itself. Students are well guided through the placement cell and workshops.
Infrastructure: UPES has an impressive infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, smart boards, digital libraries, moot court halls, and modern labs. The hostel facilities are excellent, with clean rooms, regular housekeeping, and round-the-clock security. The food in the mess is hygienic with multiple cuisine options, and there is a cafeteria and food court for variety. Medical facilities, sports grounds, a gym, and recreational space make hostel life very comfortable and enjoyable.
Faculty: Faculty members at UPES are well qualified and experienced, many of whom hold PhDs or have substantial industry exposure. They are approachable, supportive, and encourage active student participation through case studies, moot courts, and debates. The curriculum is updated regularly to stay aligned with current industry trends and includes relevant electives like Criminal Law, IPR, Taxation, Institutional, etc. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty but require consistent learning. The pass percentage is high provided that students put in the required effort. Continuous assessment ensures that students stay engaged throughout the semester.
Other: I chose BBA LL.B. at UPES because of its unique specialisation options and strong reputation in legal education. The best part of the course is its practical orientation through internships, moot court sessions, and guest lectures by industry experts. The college regularly hosts national-level events, seminars, and fests like UURJA, adding vibrant energy to the campus. I wish there were more inter-university exchange programs or international collaboration, but otherwise, it's a fantastic learning environment. The campus is beautiful, located amidst hills, with great weather and modern facilities.

I am satisfied because of the campus, okayish placement, and good and frank faculty.
Placements: 65 students out of 100 were placed. Some of the recruiters are Adani Group, Reliance, Asian Paints, Hyundai, Panasonic, Royal Enfield, and many more. Also, about 75% of children get internships with many NGOs partnered with the college.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in the whole college, labs, well-conditioned classrooms, and a huge library with a variety of books. There are well-maintained washrooms, a canteen, a gym, and sports facilities. On-campus hostels have triple and double-sharing rooms only, with common and attached washrooms, and AC and non-AC rooms.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful, and the teaching quality was decent. We can also approach them after class hours and contact them after college hours. And the course was relevant. Semester exams are not that hard if you study 1-2 hours a day.

A lot of people view our university as one we see in movies, and somewhere that's true.
Placements: Less than 50% of the students get placed. Students mostly lack basics about the subject. Though teachers prepare you well for the interview, students tend to mess up. As a student, you cannot solely rely on campus placements only. You need to have a backup plan as well.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities provided by the college. This university has very nice infrastructure. You'd love to chill inside the campus more than chilling outside. Winters here are heaven. Classrooms are top-notch. Though ACs and heaters don't work, they are just for show. Wi-Fi too sometimes messes up, but it’s rare. Hostel food has a lot of variety. Hostel buildings and rooms are very well built as well as clean.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are polite and open-minded (of course, there are some exceptions). Overall, they are really helpful, encouraging, and motivating. Exams, though, for law students are a bit more challenging than the rest.
Other: I chose law as my family’s background was in law, so I have always been inclined towards law. Feasts are not that great, like a good 6/10.

Upes kandoli (school of law).
Placements: 90% of students secure placements in the college. The highest package to date is 16.34 LPA, with an average package of 4.96 LPA. Top recruiters include EATON and Pramata. Most students receive internships through the college. The top roles offered in BBA LL.B. are Corporate Lawyer, Legal Advisor/Consultant, In-House Counsel, Finance Manager, Legal Analyst, Company Secretary, Human Resource Manager, and Public Prosecutor.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Classes are conducted virtually and are neatly arranged, with Wi-Fi available for students on campus. There are 2-3 cafes on campus, and their food is decent. The food court offers high-quality food compared to the cafes.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and explain each topic clearly. There is a moot court available for students to practice. The semester exams are moderate; if you study the material covered in class, you can easily pass. A minimum of 33% is required to pass, and 75% attendance is mandatory for every student to sit for the exams.
Other: The best thing about the course is that we connect with our studies. Overall, the faculty is great, and most events and fests are good.

Insights of UPES which every student should know.
Placements: About 50–60% students get placed. The highest package is around 7 lacs, while the lowest is about 3 lacs. The top recruiting companies are Tata and Amazon. About 70% students got internship in recruiting corporate firms. The top roles may include associate lawyer, research assistants, professors, etc.
Infrastructure: Great facilities and infrastructure, which includes well-established libraries in each department for their specific needs with access to digital libraries and other resources. Well-established and organized campus facilities provided with separate hostels for boys and girls.
Faculty: Highly qualified and experienced teachers and professors are there. They are very helpful and friendly with students regarding curricular as well as non-curricular activities. The course curriculum is appropriate as per the industry and today's world. Semesters are not particularly difficult to pass if you study regularly.

UPES is the University of tomorrow.
Placements: The placements are awesome, and the quality of placements is realistic in the field of international law. One of my seniors got placed in the Career Services Cell of UPES only. That is the level of placement they offer. This is the level of in-house placement this college offers. UPES offers placements in a wide range of fields, like the food court, campus warden, mess committee, administration, chain garam, etc.
Infrastructure: More than expectations. The campus life is so good and awesome. It fosters an environment for growth. The hostel rooms are awesome. They provide excellent services. I am happy to be a part of this college and grateful to live on the campus of this college.
Faculty: The faculty is great too. The way they teach students is great. They provide very useful insights to the students, which help us understand the actual work in the industry. This helps us understand the concepts very clearly and in a better way.
Other: The college is worth the money. The modern facilities make it worth it. The crowd is from all over India. It helps us connect with people from across the world.
