Entry Level Scholarship (FOR UG PROGRAMS ONLY):

a) On the basis of Board Merit/ CUET/ CLAT-AIR (General) Score:

For Female Candidates:
- Candidate who has achieved 95% or above in 12th Overall Marks/ CUET Score OR 1-1000 RANK in CLAT (AIR (General, LL.B. 5 years)), will get 30% Scholarship.
- Candidate who has achieved 90.01 - 94.99% in 12th Overall Marks OR 1001 - 3000 RANK in CLAT (AIR (General, LL.B. 5 years)), will get 25% Scholarship.
- Candidate who has achieved 85.01% - 90% in 12th Ov

In Continuation with Entry Level Scholarship (FOR UG PROGRAMS ONLY):

a) On the basis of Board Merit/ CUET/ CLAT-AIR (General) Score:

For Both Male and Female:

Eligibility Criteria and Conditions:
- The scholarship is applicable to the students applying for Undergraduate (UG) programs (excluding Global Pathway Program) and who have completed 12th grade from CBSE, ICSE, or any state board (mentioned under "COBSE").
- The scholarship shall be applicable only to the first-year tuition fee, provided the offer acceptance fee is deposited within the given timeline (as mentioned in the admission offer letter).
- The total number of seats is up to 3,000 and will be awarded based on merit.
- This scholarship is only available for students enrolled in regular UG programs (not in Global Pathways Program):
• If a student initially enrolls in a regular UG program and later transfers to GPP, the scholarship will be revoked. The transfer will only be permitted upon repayment of the scholarship amount awarded at the time of admission.
• Students who initially enroll in GPP and later shift to a regular program will not be eligible for a scholarship based on Board Merit/ CUET/ or CLAT AIR (General) scores.
• Only one scholarship/concession is allowed per student per semester/year. If eligible for multiple scholarships, the highest applicable scholarship will be granted not both including Domicile scholarship (as mandate by regulation).
- 25 seats are reserved for the wards of Armed Forces, including Paramilitary personnel (both serving and retired).

STUDENT FINANCIAL SUPPORT:

The University extends special financial support to students who are unable to pay the fee due to the loss of an earning parent after securing admission at UPES and submitting full fees for at least one semester.

Amount given as Support :
- The financial support extended by the University is a relaxation of ?50,000 towards tuition fees per semester until the last qualifying semester.

Eligibility Criteria & Conditions:
- The student must maintain or improve academic performance each semester.
- The student must not have any NC (Not Clear) or backlog in any semester. However, in exceptional cases, the Registrar can use his discretion and recommend the case to the Vice Chancellor for approval. This will not set a precedent for future cases.
- The student must have no disciplinary action initiated or sanctioned against them and must comply with all university norms and policies as revised from time to time.
- The financial support applies only to the upcoming semester(s).
- The support is provided only for one semester at a time. Students seeking an extension in next semester must submit a fresh application along with their latest grade card, once a notification is issued by the Department of Student Welfare (DSW).
- The University reserves the right to approve or reject applications at its discretion.
