It provided good placements in 2024. It has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The college offers the average package of 4 LPA. The minimum package is 2 LPA and the maximum package is 7 LPA. In 2024, 97 students were placed on campus and 133 students were placed off campus. A total of 230 companies visit the college for placements. 54 students got internships. SSET saw a 32% increase in 2024 compared to 2019-2023 from 68-100%. Companies like Google, UST Global, IBM, etc., visit the college for placements.

Infrastructure: We have separate blocks for each department. Each department has labs such as an electronics digital lab, microprocessor lab, etc. We have an excellent Wi-Fi connection in the hostel, library, and on campus. Classrooms are spacious. Each classroom has a chair, whiteboards, and a projector. The library is spacious and air-conditioned. A lot of study materials are available. Mess and canteen are same, and we get a variety of food and hygienic. There is a sports ground and gym. It has an indoor badminton court and an auditorium. The hostel is separate for both boys and girls.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Many teachers are PhD holders. The course curriculum is relevant. The course is NBA accredited and the college is also NAAC accredited. Semester exams are neither too difficult nor too simple. It varies according to the subject and year. The pattern is based on the previous year's papers. The pass percentage is 60-80%.

Other: I like B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, so I chose the course. 2-3 events are organised in a year such as Onam, Christmas celebration, arts fest ( Vipanchika), and sports day.

My own experience at SCMS.

Placements: 90-80% of the students are getting placed. The highest package is 1-2 lacs per month. Top recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Samsung, and all. Internships have or doing a good role at my college. The placements so overall are very good at SCMS School of Engineering and Technology.

Infrastructure: We have very good labs provided there. Good Wi-Fi, the library with central AC, and classrooms are cleaned every day. The food provided at SCMS is very good. Non-veg and veg are provided separately so it's a good option. I would recommend joining this college, SCMS School of Engineering and Technology.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in helping us to thrive in our dreams. They are providing enough knowledge to us. Teachers are very well qualified at SCMS School of Engineering and Technology.

Other: I have chosen this course ECE because of only I can jump into both software as well as hardware.

One of the best private colleges in Kerala.

Placements: In SCMS School of Engineering and Technology, Karukuty Palissery is one of the private colleges in Kerala. SCMS is included in the top 10 best colleges in Kerala. More than 70% of students get placed per year. From the third year onwards we have placement training and those who got placed in the third year can relax in the fourth year.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of SCMS Engineering and Technology, Karukuty Palissery is not good enough. I would rate it 7 out of 10 for our infrastructure. Because many places in here are kept vacant and the playground and football ground are far away from the college. Hostel is good. Separate hostels are available for 1st year and seniors help to avoid ragging in hostels.

Faculty: Faculty members of SCMS Engineering and Technology College Karukuty, Palissery is good. Faculty members provide many notes for studying, including PowerPoint presentations for our exams. Internals are taken very seriously here. We need to score good marks in the internals, and faculty members never boost our marks.

An honest college review for everyone.

Placements: Almost 75% of students are placed in our college. Most of the students without back papers get placed somewhere. The highest package is 80 LPA, the lowest is 7 LPA, although the average package is 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, UST Global, Tata, Indian Oil, and Infosys. However, internships are not directly provided by the college. The top roles provided are programmer and developer.

Infrastructure: All places on campus have free Wi-Fi. There are almost 6 computer labs and specified labs for different courses. The library is one of the best features available on the campus. It is nature-friendly, and it is built in the model of one of the famous libraries in Singapore. The mess and canteen are good, the food is good, but every week the same food will make it boring. Sport and games are very good. Different courts are available for specific sports. Medical facilities are available. There are separate sick rooms for girls and boys. Also, an ambulance is available for emergencies.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and all of them are well qualified. But some of them just don't know how to pass it tp the children very rare case. The course curriculum is much relevant but it is more based on theory. The semester exams are prepared by the university but by studying previous year questions we could easily score good CGPA. The pass percentage is almost 77.

Other: I chose this course due to the opportunities that the future holds for this course. The best thing about this course is that the world is artificial intelligence, therefore, we never get out of trend. Some things I wish to improve are that it should be more practical-based. Events and fests are not very great. Vipanchika and Igniz are the main events in our college.

Review about my own college SCMS.

Placements: Placements are good for students who have no arrears in their previous semesters. The highest package is 80 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package is 30 lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, etc. Students get internships based on their performance. The top roles offered are Site Engineer, Structural Designer, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in all the labs. There is a good library for each stream and a calm and quiet atmosphere to relax. Good transportation facilities are available. The canteen atmosphere and food are also good. I am a day scholar, but I have heard a lot about the facilities in the hostel, such as clean water, good surroundings, proper rooms, and areas for washing and drying clothes.

Faculty: The faculty members of my department are excellent, which is why I chose this college as my first option. Faculty members are friendly in nature and are very helpful in both our curricular and extracurricular activities. The way of approach of the faculty is very appreciable.

Other: I chose this course as my passion. My dream was to become a civil engineer.

Review of SCMS School of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: As the placements provided in our college is good. 30% of the students get placements. There are many companies for recruitment. Soti, Infosys, Wipro, Federal Bank, and many more are the companies that come here for placements. The average salary package of our college is 4 LPA. The highest salary package of our college is about 14 LPA which is provided by Soti company. Our campus also provides internships in Japan which is so privileged. Students apply internships outside the campus too.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure on our campus is the best. The food they serve and the menu differ actually in 2 months concurrently. There will be a choice whether veg or non-veg. The campus is beautiful and provides all the facilities. Our college has sports in which students participate. Since the sports department is not that strong. But we do have kabaddi and kho girls who secured district-level champion students who are also selected to the state team. The library is there on the campus and has more than 2,000 books.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they will be helping us to bring maximum potential of the students. The college organizes maximum events to be updated and also to be engaged in with technology. All teachers in our college are post-graduated and experienced. The majority of them pursued doctorate degrees and many of them are pursuing too. Teachers are provided with classes when the syllabus changes such that they are updated with the current trends. Semester exams are not difficult if students can spend 2 hours daily, they can get above 9 CGPA.

Other: I am an aspiring student who likes to study and learn about technology from my 12th grade. I took CS as my stream and like to follow my passion thus I chose this college. This is the best college for all kinds of students.
