Excellent faculty members and top infrastructure.
Placements: Generally, placements start after the 6th semester. Many tech companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Sify Technologies, Accenture, IBM, etc., visit our campus and offer many placement opportunities for students. During the recession time, it was quite tough but now it has become normal and the companies are recruiting well. Core companies such as Boon Motors, etc., also hire non-tech students. The average salary package for CSE was around 4 LPA-5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 42 LPA. The college training and placement cell tries to provide 100% placements. But generally, it is around 90%. For me, I have other plans in life to study abroad and gain more skills in tech industry.
Infrastructure: Library is spacious and recently they expanded the library providing extra rooms to study. Books, journals, newspapers, and previous year exam papers, etc., are available in our library. There are also many clubs for every department. ISTE, CSI, YES+, and language NEST are some of the clubs in our college that focus not only on our academics but also on overall development.
Faculty: There is a 1:10 faculty-to-student ratio. There are not many professors in our college. Most of them are M.Tech graduates. Some faculty members don't have much knowledge of the subject, they simply read display the PPT using the projector, and finish their syllabus. Interaction with the faculty members is good. Even during mid-exams if we have any health issue or any other reason and can't attend the exam, we can request the HOD of the department and ask our faculty members to conduct the exam later. It's not applicable for semester exams. It is mandatory to attend the semester exams without fail.
Other: Fests and annual days are celebrated very well. Tech fests like Nipuna, Spurthi, etc., are conducted every year. Generally, every semester we have a technical fest or cultural fest. We have an annual day once a year.

The chance of getting jobs is high after studying at this college.
Placements: In our final year, some companies start visiting our college and testing students with aptitude and interview rounds. If there is a software company, students need to attend a ground discussion and coding grounds also. Vem, ZF, Epiroc, JSW, Mahindra, Meil, and many more mechanical companies visit our college. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA. If we don't get placements, we have other plans like the GATE exam. We can study in Germany.
Infrastructure: There are many books in our central library. Students get them free of cost by simply creating an account in it. Only a few sports are conducted in our college. Classrooms need to implement new technology.
Faculty: I think my strength of materials sir is the best person to approach any problem related to education. We started our exam preparation before the 10 days and got some doubts and did not properly listen to classes due to regular absences. We approached that person, and he explained very well and patiently.
Other: Our college conducts technical fests and events like cricket-related, core-related, resume-related, and many more.

Campus model is very good.
Placements: From the third semester, students become eligible for placements. Companies start to come from January to April. Companies like Capgemini recently visited Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average package offered is 2 LPA and the lowest package offered is 1.5 LPA. About 40$-60% of students got placed. My plan after getting a degree is to apply for a good job.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio shown on the college website is approximately 15:1. College faculty strength is approximately 1,200. Students count is approximately 15,000 in the government college. I especially like Mr. Abhirana Sir of International Business Environment. The education here is very respectful and industry-ready.
Other: Events such as Entrepreneur Buddies are organised every year in the month of November. In that event, students open shops and invest money in them. Based on the highest profit, a stall award is given. Extracurricular activities are organised from time to time. No student runs any type of group.

Shahid Bhagat Singh Government College’s genuine review.
Placements: It is a very good college where good salary packages are offered in placements. It invites top companies for placements, and nearly more than half of the students got internships from courses at our college. Many reputed companies visit here for recruitments. More than required courses are available here.
Infrastructure: The college often organizes events and workshops that connect the students with industry professionals, alumni, and career guidance counselors. These interactions can help students learn about different career options and company cultures and gain valuable insights into the job market.
Faculty: The students gave the college faculty a rating of 3 out of 5, which indicates that the college has a qualified and experienced faculty. Both digital and black boards are available for explaining chapters. Exams are not very hard to crack. Exams are held in April every year.
Other: The admission process is through government portals and is based on merit-wise selection. Scholarships are available through the Madhya Pradesh government for financially weak students.

Review for faculty members, placement, and infrastructure.
Placements: Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester. Many companies visit the college, like Amazon, Coca-Cola, Zomato, Blinkit, and many more. The highest package is between 6 LPA and 10 LPA, but I don't know the exact profiles offered. Most students aim for further studies and master's degrees, while some seek jobs; it's up to the students to choose. My plan after getting this degree is to see whether I get a suitable and respectable job or aim for higher studies from top colleges.
Infrastructure: There is a variety of books in the library. You can find exactly the information you are looking for there, along with storybooks and fiction novels available for students. Study materials are also available if any student needs them. Some fests are held in the college, like a three-day college fest where people from outside universities can also visit and give their feedback. The college focuses on sports activities like swimming, basketball, and football. I'm a swimmer and have won many competitions under this college, making a name through my skills. There is a club run by students called SPARTANS, which organizes many activities based on student choices, and they participate with full enthusiasm.
Faculty: We can interact with the teachers whenever we want; we can text them our doubts and problems, and they are very understanding. Some professors have work experience and use that to give us examples while teaching. They interact with students during lessons, and if we have doubts, they clear them. The only problem is that some professors do not behave like college faculty; their behavior is more like that of school teachers. The student-faculty ratio is proper, allowing every student to receive undivided attention from the professors.
Other: The annual fee structure of my college is Rs. 120,800. The college offers several financial options, including scholarships like MMVY, as well as specific ones for OBC and ST/SC students, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
