I learned many things form our college.
Placements: Only 10% - 20% of the students got placed from our batch. The highest salary offered Rs. 15,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month. An average salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. HCL Bangalore was the top recruiting company in our college. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was Rs. 96,000 per month. Almost 100% of the students got internships because there were 100 marks for that subject. We did our internship at Raichur Thermal Power Station.
Infrastructure: Classrooms of our college are provided with a projector through which several seminars and presentations are carried out. Good facilities are provided to students in the hostel. There are 2 canteens available on campus, one serves vegetarian and the other serves non0vegetarian food.
Faculty: Teachers of our college were very helpful and friendly with students for doubts clarification, They explained the topics in a good way as they have good knowledge about the subject they chose. The course curriculum was relevant and but it makes students somewhat ready for the industry as they have only theoretical knowledge. Practical knowledge should also be provided to make students industrial challenging persons.
Other: I opted for the course because I like the movements between two mechanisms and pairing between them is a fantastic task. Many such kinds of things are missing which needed to be added in this course. Several events were held in college. The college provides scholarships and loans for our courses.

Review of Shaikh College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, placements were not conducted by our college. However, usually, around 10% to 30% of the students get placed every year. Moreover, we have searched for the nearest companies on our own. A few of the courses are learning job-oriented courses. About 50% of the students are still searching for jobs or planning for their career.
Infrastructure: Our college is far away from the city area, so even if we stay in the hostel, there will be a problem with food quality. However, our college bus facility is good, but you should learn to manage time during exams or have to use personal vehicle to come to college. Classrooms are good, and the computer labs are also good, but other machine labs are running with old damaged machines. The library is good but does not provide new edition books. Wi-Fi facility is not provided, and also there is a poor mobile network on the campus surroundings.
Faculty: Few teachers here were good, but it is the same condition in almost all engineering colleges. So, I believe that it is better to study on our own. If you have done a diploma, it is better to do some short term courses and get jobs. For diploma students, engineering is a waste of money and time.
Other: After pursuing a diploma course, working in a company as a mechanical engineer is always hard for freshers. So, we think by pursuing B. Tech, we get more value, but it is not true. Our university still using 15 years old syllabus, which is not useful in today's industries. Events, fest, campus crowd and connectivity here are similar as in other colleges. Campus surroundings include forest area, so you can't enjoy. Scholarships will be provided by government schemes. Extracurricular activities are not conducted here.
