SJMSOM MBA admission 2024 is based on CAT 2023 scores. Only candidates who have appeared for CAT are eligible for MBA admissions at SJMSOM. CAT exam has three sections namely, VARC, DILR and Quantitative Aptitude, candidates seeking SJMSOM MBA admissions must meet both the sectional as well as total CAT cutoff. The expected CAT cutoff for VARC is 75, DILR is 75, Quantitative Aptitude is 75 and the overall is 90. It is only after meeting the expected cutoff, candidates are called for further rounds of admission.

SJMSOM releases two lists the first one is the shortlist for the eligible candidates who have been selected for interview. Further, the institute releases the final list of candidates who have been finally selected and allocated the seat in the institute. Shailesh J Mehta School of Management seat allotment results are released online on the official admission website.
