It has decent placements and supportive faculty, but the curriculum needs industry updates.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students get placed. The highest package is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are ITC, Bayer, and Mahyco. 50-60% of students got internships at Syngenta, UPL and IFFCO. The top roles offered are agronomist, sales officer, and research associate. Students also get jobs in banks.
Infrastructure: It has labs for soil testing and horticulture crops. The hostel is really good and there is no ragging. Drinking water is available. There is a hot water for bathing. Toilets and bathrooms are clean. In one room, there are 6-8 fans in the hostel. Classrooms have smart boards.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful and qualified with good subject knowledge. Teaching quality is average to good. The course curriculum is fairly relevant but may need to be updated for industry readiness. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is around 85-90%.
