I am satisfied by taking admission into this college.
Placements: There is a vacancy for more than 150 students of B.Sc computer science in this college. Out of those, more than 50 students get internships every year. It depends on the college that which companies hire students for internships. Placements are from top class companies.
Infrastructure: The computer science department is very high quality in this college. There are 4 huge computer labs with more than 30 computers each, and each lab contains air-conditioners. Classrooms have a capacity of more than 150 students. There is a big library in which all types of books are available like course, non-course, general knowledge, etc. The quality of the hostel is good. The hostel capacity is more than 1,000 students. There is a separate girls' hostel. There is an issue with water availability in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are well-trained in the college. They are very helpful, soft in nature, kind-hearted, well-knowledgeable and qualified. Teaching is very good and understandable. This course is very informative about all computer languages like C, C+, Python, Java, etc. It makes students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because this course gives every possible knowledge about computers and their languages, which is very important in today's time. We can get a salary package of more than 3 LPA after completing the course with our skills. I wish our college to improve this course by giving knowledge about other processes which are useful in developing software, etc. Department events are the best. Freshers party and department always arrange days like traditional day, sports day, twins day, etc. Events are exciting. The campus and its nature are great, and there are many trees. It is a silent campus. Our college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Do not take admission here unless you want to waste your 3 years.
Placements: 2 or 3 from a class of 150+ were placed in local companies from MIDC, rest of them did private interviews and applied to companies themselves without any faculty help
No the highest or the lowest package but a 5 year save contact with WIPRO with 2-2.5L.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is old, not repaired/ barely has clean water, no water in toilets or cleanliness. Hostels are never cleaned, male students are bathing in the open
No Wi-Fi in hostels or classrooms, library is above average
Labs are good, food is awful.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but not for teaching, Teaching quality is subpar
Curriculum is irrelevant and outdated and won't help you get placed anywhere, it's stuff from 15 years ago. Exams are very difficult since they are conducted by the state board.
Other: I chose the course bcuz l failed to do any background check about the course being offered and just saw computer Science and jumped in the bandwagon and also the HOD made false promises of big companies coming to the campus for placement, which was obviously a lie/ nobody is offered anything above 3LPA here
Things which would improve the course are actual practical sessions and not focus on completion of portion, and not just writing code in your books for assignment/rather conducting actual daily sessions for more coding than once a week. Focus on more stuff which is actually relevant in the market rather than selling a dream and then subjecting the student to learn outdated stuff for 3 years. Not much events are conducted besides some matches or a farewell and an exhibition (once a year)
Campus surroundings are good but should be properly utilize to give a refreshing feeling instead of the boring green colors everywhere
Scholarships aren't being provided currently besides the government quota for the less fortunate
Besides if the focus shifted from putting 200 students in one class to putting 40-50 quality students and bringing 4-5 good companies for their placements, the college and course would do wonders
Also the process of admission is too hectic, the filling of forms and running from one section to Next for some stamp and then to bank and then again for submission can all be done if you collect everything in class itself or ask students to submit the following stuff online, it's a computer Science course at least you must have this simple facility available.
