I am a student of SDM, so I think I can answer this question pretty well. No, SDM has not inflated their placement stats, my all batchmates got placed in top companies. The average placement package is 6.94 LPA. SDM never manipulates or inflates any stats regarding placements & packages.

PGDM in Finance at SDMIMD is one of the best. We have one of the best set of faculty members in the country who are having a rich experience of both corporate and academics. Shortlisted applicants will be called for Personal Interview in March 2018 to be held at several centres across India as mentioned in the Application Form (Skype interviews held on request).

For students who have opted for interviews on Skype, they will not be having What. You should be well versed in the current happenings across the world. You maybe given a topic and maybe asked to speak on it for a couple of minutes.

Prepare well by going through all the recent news articles, budget 2017 & UBI etc. In short, improve on current affairs & also go through mock interview videos on the internet to build your confidence. It's going to be hard to crack PI round as our panel consist of highly experienced faculty members & they are going to select only best candidates, so prepare well. Best of luck.

PGDM at SDMIMD is one of the best in the country. Here you can opt for dual specialization. Faculty members here have rich academic and corporate experience. Being an IT experience guy systems would be an ideal specialization for you and you can also opt for other streams based on your interests. All streams or specialization are extremely good here, you can opt for any of it. But being from IT background and with companies like TCS, Oracle and Infosys visiting the campus every year that will be your best choice.
