SDMIMD Introduces AICTE Approved one year Post Graduate Programme in Entrepreneurship & Family Business
May 11, 2021: Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD) is pleased to announce the introduction of an AICTE-approved PGCM programme aimed specifically at aspiring entrepreneurs, particularly those who have grown up in a family business. The curriculum also seeks to impart expertise and offer opportunities to apply management ideas, philosophies, and values. Domain experts from entrepreneurial ventures, funding agencies, and practitioners are also actively involved.
SDMIMD will collaborate with M/S Silicon Road, start-up ideation, venture capital, and accelerator company based out of Mysore and United States, founded by Sid Mookerji, a well-known serial entrepreneur from Mysore and Atlanta, USA.
The institute has also achieved certain International accreditations that include EFMD, ACBSP, EFMD acceptance of BSIS, QS-I-gauge 'Diamond' ranking, NBA, AIU equivalence to MBA, and international tie-up agreements with 15 universities around the world.

QS-I-Gauge Felicitates SDMIMD with Diamond Rating Among Management Institutes of India
September 5, 2020: The QS-I-Gauge, India Specific Rating Office for Quacquarelli Symonds, London, awarded the highest level of 'Diamond' rating to Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development, Mysuru among all management institutes of India. Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings and the Higher Education Institutes Ranking are universally accepted throughout the world in the fraternity of higher education institutions, corporate employers and among the students’ community. The ratings are decided after evaluating the participating and the eligible institutes on the basis of the number of parameters relevant to the management education and most importantly independent study.
Earlier this year in January 2020, the Institute has been presented with Business School Impact System (BSIS) certification by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) who have also renewed the institute’s PGDM accreditation for a period of three years.
Even during the difficult times of global pandemic due to the novel Coronavirus, SDMIMD has managed to achieve 100 per cent admissions for the batch 2020-22 and classes are going to commence in online mode.
