Great value for money, very safe for women. Infrastructure is also great.

Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified, not only that, but also they teach their subject extremely well, and they are very approachable when you come up to them with any kind of trouble, they help you out. The course curriculum focuses on the basics.

Placements in 2025 are really good.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly and well-qualified. They are really helpful and also provide career guidance if you reach out to them. The curriculum followed is as per the guidelines of Calcutta University, and the difficulty level of the exams is also the same as that of CU.

It has a really good atmosphere, and it is a girls' school, therefore, we feel more comfortable.

Faculty: The faculty is one of the best parts of this course. All the teachers are qualified Chartered Accountants or subject experts, and they are always ready to clear doubts, even after class. The curriculum is comprehensive, regularly updated by ICAI, and prepares students for real-world accounting, tax, and audit work.

Wasted my money on this profit-oriented college.

Faculty: Some teachers were not knowledgeable at all. Few think you had a lot of money to waste on paper and prints out. Not eco-friendly at all. Even the tiniest thing could be done without printouts. They will want you to invest your money in it and increase the sales of their in built stationery under the college.

Dissatisfaction with facilities and no good placements, but the infrastructure is decent.

Faculty: Teachers aren't very polite to the students. They also don't complete the syllabus on time. I've witnessed this every semester. Semester exams are manageable. It was a self-study thing for me, as the college teachers weren't helpful and were rude.

I am satisfied with the faculty members, course, good placements, and a good infrastructure.

Faculty: The qualifications and knowledge of professors regarding their subject are good but they suddenly changed the shift of classes to another subject which I think is not at all good. The B.Com (Hons) course is a 4-year program with 8 semesters. It provides students with a lot of knowledge regarding the industry, commercial life, the economy of India, finance, etc.

An honest college review.

Faculty: There are 5-6 teachers in the English faculty and each year students vary from 60-80 in numbers. The faculty members are pretty good at teaching but a little less supportive. Though literature is tough if someone really likes reading stuff, you may go ahead. It basically develops one's thinking process and encourages one to think out of the box. Creative writing is one of its aspects and it has a lot of scope in the real world. The duration is 3 hours of paper for 65 marks.

Shri Shikshayatan College.

Faculty: Teachers of my course are very helpful and highly qualified. There are Ph.D. holders. Some have even published their hooks which are available in the college library. The curriculum is relevant but there is scope for improvement that change is dependent on the university, not the college. Semester exams can be tricky and the checking is done by the university. The college has no role in the year-end examination.

Journalism and Mass communication - Shri Shikshayatan.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable as well. The curriculum is relevant and theory-wise. Semester exams are not difficult if we put effort into studying. Pass percentage is 35%. Other than that, the practical experience here is not a lot, it's just the basics.

Love the learning and life experience that this college is still teaching me.

Faculty: Teachers are pretty helpful, funny, and reliable. Each professor is very qualified and a journalist has worked at a particular renowned media house. The course is very much relevant till today. It also makes students industry-ready by making them work on practical projects like making a newspaper, writing articles, creating a news bulletin, making documents, building a website, and many other practical projects. Semester exams are pretty much the same as other colleges like it happens after six ...

Absolutely satisfied because of the environment and discipline.

Faculty: The teachers at this college are very highly educated and maintain their dignity with the students. They are very friendly and approachable to each student and always try to explain the material in the best possible way. They also conduct revision lectures during the examination period which helps us to boost our confidence.
