This college is suitable for students who wish to prepare for government jobs.
Placements: The brutal reality of this college was that on-campus placements were practically zero. If you joined this college with the expectation that corporate companies would visit the campus and hand you a job offer upon graduation, you would be highly disappointed.
Infrastructure: The college featured large, traditional, well-ventilated classrooms. There was also a dedicated seminar hall and auditorium for cultural activities, college events, and guest lectures. Separate departmental practical labs were available for Science streams like Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Geography. A basic computer lab was also present. Labs fulfilled university exam criteria. They lacked highly advanced, high-tech research equipment. The college has a well stocked library. It contained thousands of textbooks for Arts, Science, and Commerce courses. It also had competitive exam magazines, Journals, and daily newspapers. There was no hostel. There was no special arrangement for sports here.
Faculty: Professors were highly experienced and knowledgeable in their core subjects. They followed a traditional, blackboard-oriented teaching style. The major drawback was the shortage of permanent staff relative to the thousands of enrolled students. Core subjects were well taught. Elective classes could sometimes be irregular due to staff shortages. Curriculum strictly followed the guidelines of MGSU, Bikaner. There was a strong focus on subjects like Political Science, History, Geography, & Hindi Literature. The standard university syllabus covered Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, and Botany, along with mandatory practical lab sessions. It also covered Traditional Accountancy, Business Administration, and Economic Administration.
