Review of Siddharth Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Placements and Training Center plays a vital role in networking graduating students with industry and many technical institutions. It prepares students for the process of recruitment simultaneously. It creates awareness among companies about talent at SIETK and extends support to them to facilitate recruiting. The PAT is headed by a full-time training and placement officer. A team of faculty members assists in coordinating the work of the PAT center. The college has been consistently topping the list of campus placement of engineers among private engineering colleges and extends information, advice, guidance, and placement support to students. Career advisers engage them in discussions and students are encouraged to attend talks, information fairs, and recruitment events.

Infrastructure: Our college has aesthetically designed buildings with spacious, well-ventilated, and well-furnished classrooms and laboratories. There were well-equipped laboratories with the latest equipment and they were continuously upgraded based on requirements. E-learning classrooms in every department use technology and modern teaching methods to train the students more effectively. There is an air-conditioned library with the latest collection of volumes. In addition, there was an exclusive digital library. There were four air-conditioned seminar halls with capacities of 500 and 300 people with LCD projectors and sound systems for in-house training sessions and association activities. There was an air-conditioned auditorium with 4000 capacity and with world-class audio and video systems for major activities such as off-campus selections, seminars, competitions, annual functions, and celebrations. It had a dedicated infrastructure to host on-campus selection drives. There were air-conditioned computer labs with brand new computers with the latest configuration, Wi-Fi all over the campus, exclusive hostels for girls and boys with modern facilities, a hygienic canteen within the campus catering to the needs of the students and the staff at concessional prices, mineral water plants throughout the campus, and spacious playgrounds for extra-curricular development of the students.

Faculty: The Research and Development (R&D) cell organised industrial visits or tours to help the students gain practical knowledge of work situations in their respective branches and there by acquiring hands-on experience. Entrepreneurship Development Cell undertakes training programs enabling promising students to emerge as prospective entrepreneurs. Special care was taken to focus on individual students by periodical personal counseling with a thrust on discipline, attendance, and academic progress.

Candidate must have passed 10th grade or S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS, such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), 10th class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Candidates from NIOS/APOSS/other recognized examinations deemed equivalent to SSC by the A.P. Government must have passed all subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March-2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET- 2024. There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2024. Candidates must be Indian citizens and residents of the state of Andhra Pradesh.
