Dissatisfied because of placements & recent faculty but it is very good in infrastructure

Placements: The placements are not good as such. Only 10-15% students are placed from the previous batch in companies like ICICI Lombard, Bajaj Fin, etc. Maximum placements are done in the field of sales & marketing with the average package of about 1.8-2.4 LPA. Some students of our batch got an internship in companies like Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, advisories, etc. in core sectors like finance, marketing, HR. Their percentage was above 60%.

Infrastructure: The college campus is spread over around 65 acres. The infrastructure is very good along with all amenities like libraries, labs, playing ground, park, canteen, transportation, swimming pool, etc. The classrooms are also equipped with all amenities like proper furniture, projectors, etc. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. Hostel facility is not available here & the quality of food at canteen is average.

Faculty: The faculty is not that experienced but okay as per the qualification & knowledge. All old experienced faculty members were replaced. We got proper industrial exposure via industrial visits, case studies, corporate culture, etc. but only in the 1st year. There is about 60:1 student-faculty ratio. The curriculum is useful but the teaching methods are not activity based.

A good college, nice campus, good infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: The placements of our batch were not much good. Many of the students did not get placed. Both seniors and juniors were not placed as their expectations. The average package offered was around 3.2 lakhs per annum. But many students didn't get beneficial campus placements, and the internship as well.

Infrastructure: The campus is quite good and big. The classrooms are big and spacious and theatre-style. There are two libraries and a computer lab, while the campus lacks Wi-Fi facility. There are a big ground and a basketball court for sports, with the availability of games essentials. The canteen serves limited items, but the quality and taste are too good and at very less prices. Overall, there was no problem in infrastructure, apart from Wi-Fi.

Faculty: The faculty in our tenure was really very good. Most of them have done their PhDs and very experienced. All the teachers were very helpful and dedicated. It is a DAVV affiliated college, so DAVV curriculum is only followed, which is a well-appreciated curriculum. There were some industrial visits too, and professors followed a well practical approach of teaching method. They also provided extra classes, revision classes, doubt-clearing sessions in every semester.

Other: The college is neither good nor bad and it is advisable not to take admission if they are really interested into studies. Their faculty members are up to the mark but the management is very irresponsible and there is no official personnel to look after into the fees related issues.

Absolutely unsatisfied with this college and mainly with its placements.

Placements: I was placed in Hotel Sayaji Indore for the profile of sales executive. And in SGS Pvt. Ltd Indore, I got placement for the designation of US recruiter. Fusion Consultant (US- IT recruitment) is again a US -IT recruitment company in which I was selected as a US-IT recruiter. I also got placed in Teleperformance as HR executive for BPO sector.

Infrastructure: The labs are good but the engg. labs don't have proper equipment. The computer labs and library are too good. The library is the 2nd best library in Indore. Buildings are okay but not excellent. There is no campus life at all. The infrastructure is not as good as it should be. They have a swimming pool in the campus but never saw it filled with pure water (always filled with rainy and dirty water).

Faculty: The course that they have is as per the university norms, which are good and relevant. If I talk about the faculty, when I was there, till the 2nd sem, faculty members were excellent and were teaching us properly, but during my final year, the college got new faculty members which were no good.

Other: Doing MBA from Sanghvi College was the biggest mistake of my life. I would never suggest anyone to have any degree from that college. You will find better colleges in the city where you can find the good campus placements.

Other: Infrastructure is good but management is something which needs improvement. Fees is less in comparison to other B schools of Indore. You may enroll into any available course. Faculty members earlier were better there than at present. Otherwise, everything fine there.

Other: SIMS is a good college. All faculty members are too good and college provides placement in very good companies. SIMS conducts some very good knowledgeable activities in the college, which helps to increase our knowledge and prepare for the future jobs. SIMS also focuses on some cultural activities every year to increase the confidence and remove stage fear from the students. SIMS also has a link with MSME, which helps to establish a new business after their MBA degree.

Other: My College is really good in all the terms like Infra, education facility, Teachers and our staff. In terms of money it is somewhat costly than other colleges of M.P. but they have justification of that amount. In terms of Infra my college got best infra award. Good placements, Industrial visit and provide market exposure through different activities.

Candidate must have completed Graduation with mentioned percentage in aggregate of any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by AIU or Institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto. The mentioned SC/ST percentage is for Madhya Pradesh residents. Candidates belonging to OBC (excluding creamy layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh can apply with at least 45%. The Bachelor's degree must be of minimum three years duration after passing Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of (10+2) system or equivalent. Candidates in the Final year of above degree examinations can also apply on provisional basis. Candidate who has passed qualifying examination with grace marks are also eligible for admission. Candidates whose qualifying examination marksheet are based on grading system has to produce conversion of grade to marks.
