SISTEC - Good faculty, average placements, average infra, overall good ROI.

Placements: In Computer Science, almost 50-60% students are placed. The highest package last year was 20 LPA, and the lowest was 2.6 LPA. The average package lies around 4.5-5 LPA for the tech branch, and for other core branches it lies around 3.5-4 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. Cisco also used to visit campus, but hardly 1 or 2 make it to crack. On campus, no paid internship is provided, only an unpaid summer internship is available in local industries. It's up to students to crack off-campus internships. The top roles offered are software trainee and assistant software engineer.

Infrastructure: College is just 12 acres. Labs for all the departments, like the computer lab, physics lab, etc., are there, but they have limited and old resources only. A central library is there with a seating capacity of a maximum of 50 students, and books relevant to the college curriculum are available there. Classrooms have whiteboards. I am not a hosteler, but my friends told me that the mess food is below average, sometimes it's too bad, and I have visited hostel rooms, which are just okay for students. There is a ground that is not maintained, and there is no indoor sports facility in reality.

Faculty: Faculty, in terms of qualification, is okay, they are Master's or PhD from private colleges, but in terms of support, they are too good, they are always available, not that rude type conservative faculty. Curriculum, no doubt, is RGPV aligned, so it's outdated. It's not at all enough to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are just average, you can score well just by studying 1 week before the exam. The pass percentage is 33%.

Other: I failed to score well in the JEE Main exam, that's why I had to choose this college. I had only private college options available, so I chose this because of the better return on investment. In the course, cybersecurity is in demand, a bright future course, and I have talked to a college counsellor and seniors before admission, who told me that cybersecurity at SISTEC is better than traditional CSE. Curriculum and lab facilities could be improved. Small events are held in the college, our freshers party Aarambh, and cultural fest Sagar Exuberance are really enjoyable.

Overall, my campus's faculty members are all so good.

Placements: I'm a fresher at my college and in batch 2025-26. So far, 50 companies have come and are still in the process of applying for both jobs and internships. More companies will arrive soon, and 20 students have been hired so far. The company's highest package so far is 20 LPA, and the medium package at my college has been 6 LPA paid till now.

Infrastructure: The college is literally really clean, and the hostel rooms are also good.

Faculty: The teachers are very humble, kind, and they are all who completed their master's degree, and some have job experience. They teach us about our university subject, and also they take our classes from 1st year for CRT aptitude, and also help us to improve our English communication, build confidence, and build our body language, so they take our other sessions for all these kinds of extracurricular activities, so with the academics we are also learn how we have to live. The faculty here is very good. The behaviour of our faculty is too good, and they also help us in every situation. Whenever we need help, they definitely help us, and actually, they are so humble.

The overall average for the larger SISTec group for 2024 was 4.75 LPA. 80 percnet students got internships in 2024. TCS, Wipro and Cisco are among the top recruiting companies. Placements: Around 60-70 percent of students get placed, with packages ranging from 3 LPA to 10 LPA. The average package is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Capgemini and Bosch. Around 50 percent get internships in core and IT firms with roles like embedded engineer, network engineer and software developer.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are big and good. They have a good environment. Wi-Fi is also available in the library for learning. Labs are available for practising the experiments. The college structure is good. There is a big ground and pool.

Placements: It totally depends on our skills. If our skills are good then we can get placed easily. There are also internships. The main language may be C or C+. The minimum package offered ranges from 2-3 LPA and the highest package offered ranges from 12-20 LPA. 50-60% of students get internships. Companies that visit the campus are TCS, etc.

Infrastructure: The department is good and clean. There is a net problem. Classrooms are very nice and furnished. The library is well-managed.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and try to understand topics 2-3 times. If students do not understand the topic, then they try to make them understand again. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their fields. Mostly, faculty members are PhD holders. Exams are easy and also difficult. Faculty members are good. HOD is also good and she talks very politely and in a manner. Only a few faculty members are rude.
