IPS Academy offers 76 courses through three institutes and schools affiliated with DAVV Indore. The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech/BE/B.Sc Engineering) is a degree awarded by universities to students who have completed four years (eight semesters) worth of coursework related to a specific branch of engineering. Most colleges operate on semester basis i.e each year corresponds to two semesters. Eligibility for entry is 10+2 years of school education. Generally the first year (first two semesters) is common to all branches, and has the same subjects of study. Courses divert after first year. The medium of instruction and examination is English and IES is affiliated to RGPV university. IES offers engineering in various branches like: computer science, civil, fire technology, electronics and telecommunication, electrical engineering, chemical engineering. Including all the streams in BTech the number of seats available are around 1700-1800.

Prior to 2013, performance on the MP-PET was the primary criterion for undergraduate admission to the Institute. The Joint Entrance Examination results are currently used by the Institute to determine admission. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is the basis for admission at the postgraduate level.

CMAT 2025 was on January 25, 2025, almost four months ahead of previous years. The CMAT exam is usually held in March-April, but in 2023 and 2024, it was held in May. The last time CMAT was held in January was in 2019.
