Supportive faculty members and decent campus life.

Placements: I belong to CSE-data science branch under the VTU scheme. Around 70% of students from our senior batch got placed through campus drives. The highest package touched around 26 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA while the lowest is 3LPA in our batch. Many students got internships in startups and MNCs.

Infrastructure: Our department has modern classrooms with projectors, Wi-Fi, and well-equipped computers and labs that support hands-on learning for coding and projects. Library is vast with physical and digital resources. Hostel has decent rooms and very good facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, approachable, and supportive. Curriculum is industry relevant with a focus on AI-ML. Exams are moderately tough but pass percentile is high. Teachers are supportive of publishing research papers and help with real-time project building.

Other: It needs improvement in mess food and Wi-Fi.

The placements are good, and referrals are mainly for placements.

Placements: 90% students were placed. The highest package is 26 to 30 LPA. The lowest package is 3 to 5 LPA. Top Recruiting companies are SAP, Cognizant, LMindTree. Internship is often interview based. Top roles can be associate product engineer. Many students need to search for internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good and appreciable. The infrastructure is also good. The Wi-Fi is comparatively slow as many others use it at the same time. The facilities in the hostel are somehow better compared to others. The food is also good to eat.

Faculty: Teachers are good, but self study is best in my opinion. The course curriculum covers all branches in the foundation. We can also complete some NPTEL courses. Teachers are really helpful if you are interested in learning. The semester exams are somewhat difficult, depending on the various teachers.

About SJBIT college of engineering.

Placements: I am from the college SJB Institute of Technology. Almost 90% of students are placed in college. The recruiting process is good, and with the good mentorship most of the students also get internship opportunities and work as interns at different companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the course is good with a good quality of classroom but as a hosteller I can say that the hostel is not good. There are many problems and the response is not so good at the hostel, again and again the problems arrises. I don't suggest hostel of SJBIT but I suggest the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. Every faculty member helps in every step of the curriculum. Teaching and non-teaching staffs are good but the administration doesn't provide exam hall tickets until you clear your course fee. Even during the exams they make us roam.

Good faculty and placements, great campus facilities like Wi-Fi and a central library.

Placements: I'm currently pursuing my BE in Information Science and Engineering at SJB Institute of Technology, Bangalore from the 2022-26 batch. Our course has been a blend of strong academic grounding in core CS subjects. The institute has a dedicated placement cell that works closely with students to enhance their interview skills, resume preparation and company-specific training.

Infrastructure: Our department is equipped with well-maintained computer labs that have internet required for programming, web development, machine learning, and other technical subjects. Every lab session is conducted with proper technical support. The central library is well stocked with textbooks and reference materials.

Faculty: I would say the faculty here is quite good overall. Most of our professors are well qualified, holding PhDs or M. Teach degrees, and they have good industry and teaching experience. The curriculum follows VTU guidelines and we had workshops on cloud computing, full-stack development and React.

Decent college with scope for self-driven learners.

Placements: I am from the 2022-26 batch. In our course, 60% of students got placed, and mostly through on-campus and polled drives. The highest package is approximately 12 LPA. The average range is 3.5 LPA - 4.5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, and LTI Mindtree.

Infrastructure: Our college has decent infrastructure compared to other tier 3 colleges, including average Wi-Fi, classrooms, library, and access to central library. Hostel facilities are average. It has manageable rooms and common bathroom facilities. Canteens facilities are good. Medical facilities are available on campus. There is a large ground for sports, and regular inter-college events are held.

Faculty: Faculty members in ISE are very supportive compared to other departments. Teaching technique is average. Faculty members have average knowledge. It's all about your hard work, not dependent on faculty members. Now it's mostly autonomous value for CS/ISE. To be industry-ready, students rely on self learning and external certification.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: It is a good college with good placements. Various companies come for recruiting, with the highest salary being 30 LPA to the lowest being 3.3 LPA. TCS and Tech Mahindra are the most recruited companies in our college, which come to our college. It offers all types of roles in the company.

Infrastructure: Students get 100 GB per month. Wi-Fi and labs are maintained very well, and classrooms are good. Every department gets its own library, and every department has its own building. Hostel provides good quality food and good clean maintenance. It provides medical facilities and helps in sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very high. Course curriculum is very relevant, and it helps students to industry-ready by conducting all seminars required. Semester exams in college are quite difficult, and the percentage is good.
