Don't take admission in skiet.
Placements: There is 0% placement in all the deppt. When u will be go to take the admission the he will say to u that about the placement. Bt when u will complete it college the. U will see there are no placement. The college is a only a source of business. No body support for the placement all the student always upset regards to the placement and very sad only because of the college because the college is never support for the placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Smart class facility is available in the college. Hostel is also available because it is a very old college. And there are totalbm 8 building. I suggest u all the student that don't take admission in this college. Wi-Fi is available in the college. Library is also good there is a large ground for the play quality of food is average.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful, bt average qualified and he has limited knowledge. And the teaching quality is so bad. No body recommend u for the industrial training all the student must have required self study when u take admission in the college. No. The course is not useful from this college.

"Best Engineering College - Placements and Study wise.
Placements: I have passed B.Tech from this college (SKIET). I would like to say thanks for giving me a professional based knowledge. I have selected in an IT company through my college campus. It is a nice college as placement. I will really miss my college life and of course the lovable college staff.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. When you take an entry from the GATE there is parking on the right side, and after that, there are three building. The first building is for administrative and first-year students; secondly is for Mechanical and CSE students, last but not the list the third is for management, Backside their is a cafe and boys hostel. The overall infrastructure is good.
Faculty: This is one of the best colleges I've ever seen. Completing my education, now I am working in IT company through campus placement. So I would like to say thanks to the management & staff members of SKIET. Their is high qualified faculty members and are very supportive and helpful. Hostel facilities are also very good. Thank you SKIET and other staff members who helped me so much in every situation.
Other: There are many events held on a weekend like Poetry competition, Sloan competition. Fest is organized after six months. The campus crowd is superb and internet connectivity is good throughout the campus. Various scholarships are given to the SC/ST candidates. Extracurricular activities like sports meet held after three months.

SKIET is one of the oldest private colleges in Haryana.
Placements: There are no placements for our department in 2017. The placements are done for companies like CSE and ECE departments. The quality of the education is below average in this college because of the shortage of the staff. Admissions to B.Tech is very less now this year because of the college performance is not adequate.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but there is no facility like transportation in the college. But the hostel facility is said to be very good. The food available is good enough. The playgrounds were also available for the students. The canteen and library facilities are also available.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is average. The teachers are good, but I think in this college the quality of education is average than other colleges in Kurukshetra. The teaching labs are available for all department courses like CSE, mechanical, electronics and civil etc. The library facility is also provided to students. Four years course i.e. B.Tech in this college is done in which two semesters are held for examination in a year. Sometimes events and programs, parties also held in the college.
Other: The college is good. I recommend students to take admission in the college according to their choices and interests, but SKIET is one of the oldest private colleges in Haryana. Nowadays because of the decrease in the demand for B.Tech engineering, the facilities of every private college are same as SKIET college because of the shortage of admissions in these colleges.

No placements but the best infrastructure.
Placements: To be honest, there are no placements in this college. Specially, the mechanical branch had no placements. I haven't got placed, and no placements for my seniors as well. Apart from this, the college can't be able to get any internship opportunities for your career.
Infrastructure: I admit that there is a mind-blowing infrastructure in this college. When you take an entry from the huge gate, there is parking on the right side, and after that, there are three buildings. The first building is for administrative and first-year students; secondly is for mechanical and CSC students, last but not the least, the third one is for management. Back side there is a cafe and boys hostel.
Faculty: If we talk about the faculty and administration, there is a huge team available for students and management also. They are well educated and very much dedicated. Especially, the mechanical branch and our principal Mr Viraj Tyagi is one of the great teachers with lots of knowledge, and he is a PhD holder.

Very bad university and really bad faculty.
Placements: The placement is really bad. A few companies visited our college but the placement percentage is about 5-8%. The placement cell is also not cooperative. I passed out last year. But still, I am jobless.
Mechanical placements are about 0% while CSE placements are about 10%. Overall, it is really bad in terms of placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not OK, but progress is still going to make it better. Classrooms are very ordinary. Only two or three classrooms are smart classrooms, while other classrooms are in really bad situations. The main building is OK, but it is too old at about 20 years. It is not the infrastructure for which you pay 70,000+ per year. Overall, the infrastructure is not good.
Faculty: The faculty team of this college is not like any other. They are students who have studied earlier in this college. They don't know how to Teach. Actually, any medium students who have good interest in engineering or any subject of engineering know more than them. In exams, they take a bribe to cheat in exams. I can tell you these things because I know all the faculty members of this college.
Other: I just want to say that if you are a medium student, this college is not for you. It comes under Kurukshetra University, which is now a D-grade university in 2017 in Haryana. The result making of this university is worse. Only 5-10% results come every year.
I just want to warn all the students that it is better to study hard for a JEE exam and get in any NIT or IIT. This college is not good for students who want to become an engineer.

Absolutely dissatisfied - frustrated & disappointed.
Placements: No placements at all. Below are the few points to pay attention to-
1. They just invite startup companies and most of them are not even registered.
2. Companies that visit the college are like training institutes, for first 3 to 6 months either you have to pay for the training program or you have to work without salary.
3. Most of the companies ask for a minimum of 1 or 2 years of bond by submitting your original documents.
4. A total of 3 or 4 students got placed in good companies referred by this college to companies visiting in other colleges.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed for the students is 128kbps.
Labs are not good, very old and faulty lab practice materials.
The classrooms are normal(Non-AC), but not so good.
They just had an ambulance in the name of medical facilities.
No working canteen inside the campus.
The library contains required books but the number of books available is half of the total required.
Hostel rooms are average but the quality of food in hostel mess is not good.
Faculty: No industry exposure like industrial visits for technical knowledge.
The faculty members just having theoretical knowledge only and most of them are M.Tech freshers.
The faculty-student ratio is 1:60.
The behavior and attitude of the faculty are worst. TEvery teacher will carry his/her own notes and he/she will just read it in front of you.
If you ask any question/query from the teacher, he/she will just try to ignore you by making silly excuses.
Other: It is not a good college if you want to study to be a successful person in your life. After passing from here you will feel that you have just successfully wasted 4 years of life.
The caution money/security deposit I had submitted is not cleared till now by the college. I am a 2014 batch pass-out.

Candidates seeking direct admissions through Management Quota must have appeared on any of the entrance exams of national level.
Admissions to the Engineering and Diploma courses are done on the basis of counselling conducted by HSTES (formerly, HSCS).
