GJUST BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. The university offers BTech in 11 specialisations and four specialisations in Hindi medium through its seven affiliated colleges. GJUST BTech eligibility criteria:
- An applicant should have passed the Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
- For admission to BE/ BTech (Bio-Technology), a candidate should pass in Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science.
- A candidate who is passed in Diploma in Engineering and Technology from a recognised institute/ university.
- Candidates should have obtained 45% marks (40% in the case of reserved category candidates).

Selection & Admission:
The university also provides lateral entry to BTech courses. Candidates, after completing Class 12, can apply for any of the BTech courses. GJUST BTech admission is merit/ entrance examination based. GJUST accepts JEE Main scores for the selection of students. Admission to the UG-level course is merit/JEE score based. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility requirements can visit the university website to apply. After application submission, it is scanned by the authorities and cutoff list is published. The applicants who meet the cutoff criteria then need to take part in HSTES counselling.
