On the other hand, the average package offered to BCA graduates at Assam Don Bosco University is INR 1.9 lakh. In conclusion, SMIT, Sikkim Manipal University, offers the highest average package for BCA courses compared to Assam Don Bosco University.

As per the verified Shiksha reviews given by the students and alumni of the BCA course at SMIT Sikkim Manipal University, the BCA placements are good. Some of the points that prove the worthiness of placements are mentioned below: The college offers a lot of placement assistance. There are various companies visiting the college to recruit the students, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, DELL, and many others. The average package offered in this course is INR 4 lakh.Placements are provided almost to everyone in top companies. The average salary package ranges from 22 LPA to 90 LPA. Students are recruited by Microsoft, Dell, Infosys, and many other big companies. Data scientist, digital marketer, and cybersecurity expert are the roles offered.Almost 75% of students get placed. In my course, 60% of the students got internships, and some of them went for higher studies. The average salary was about INR 4 lakh, and INR 8 Lacs was the highest salary offered for my course. Students are placed in Microsoft, Amazon, and IBM from our college.

Moreover, for some of the BTech specialisation, candidates who have Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Chemistry, etc., are also eligible to apply. Further, the institute accepts the scores of entrance examination for admission to BTech courses. SMUT accept the valid scores from any of the following; JEE/ MET/ SMET (SMIT Entrance Test).

There is no donation or capitation fee of any kind. There are no management seats too for MSc coursres. Candidates are advised to apply directly to the institute through online or offline mode. They are cautioned against going through any agents.

The selection criteria for M.Tech courses at SMIT, Sikkim Manipal University, vary according to the specialisations candidates have selected. The institute accepts the scores of GATE, MET, and the screening test conducted by the concerned department. Additionally, for M.Tech in IT and Power Electronics, the admissions are merit-based, and for the rest of the specialisation, 50% weightage is given to BE/BTech and 50% weightage to marks obtained in the screening test.
