I'm highly satisfied with the faculty and the placements.
Placements: Placements are good, with about 80% of students placed through campus placements, and the rest have their own family business or want to start their own entrepreneurial journey. The highest package offered is around 8 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. Top roles offered are brand manager, digital marketing analyst, relationship manager, and more. Top recruiting companies are Asian Paints, Odoo, Axis Bank, ICICI Prudential, ICICI Securities, Kotak Bank, Godrej, Berger Paints, etc. The internship ratio is about 100% throughout the college, with companies like State Bank of India, Motilal Oswal, Adani Wilmar, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided are good. Classrooms are air-conditioned, and they have smart boards and projectors. Wi-Fi facility is also available. A computer lab is available for the students. The SLIMS library has a vast collection of books and also has a separate reading area. The quality of food is good, but there is no hostel facility available at the moment. A health center with first aid is available on campus. There are many indoor games available for the students, but the college does not have its own ground. The college organizes sports events in collaboration with other colleges.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified and have a great knowledge, and they are also very helpful in guiding the students. The teaching quality is good, and everyone has their own unique way of teaching. The curriculum is designed in a way that makes students industry-ready by preparing them for real-world business challenges. The semester exams are not very difficult and are easily manageable.
Other: SLIMS has a legacy of offering its MBA programme since 1998. It also has good industry connections, which help students gain more benefits through guest lectures, workshops, etc. There should be more industrial visits, as they will provide more industry exposure to students. Events and fests are organized by the college, and the college crowd is very good. The campus is located in the middle of Ahmedabad, which helps with easy access to other locations. Scholarships are offered as on merit.

Not a good college for MBA. No good placements and Infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are not good. Around 80% of students are placed on campus for recruitment. MRF, ZYDUS, ASIAN PAINTS, and BERGER PAINTS are some of the occasionally visiting companies. Top roles are offered in fields like marketing, Finance and information technology. The highest package offered is 8 lacs, and the average is 6 lacs. Every student got internship and it was part of the academics.
Infrastructure: The department is housed in a single classroom on the ninth floor. The classrooms are air-conditioned, and the first-year classroom has a smart board, while the second-year classroom has projectors. The college does not have a hostel or medical facility, but it does hold sporting events on other college grounds. The library is good.
Faculty: The senior faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. However, the newer teachers are not as skilled, and they are taking over. The course curriculum is not relevant, and it doesn't prepare us for the industry. The semester exams aren't that difficult if you know English well and study only the important points before the exam.

An average college because of campus and faculty, placements are very bad.
Placements: The majority of students are those who have a good academic background. The placement here is 50/50. The college will say that they have 100% placement but that's totally wrong. Please take admission at your own risk.
Infrastructure: They have a good setting for our first year, with well-equipped classrooms with smartboards and AC. But, in the second year, they will switch classrooms, and these classrooms will have no smartboard but a projector. There is no Wi-Fi in the hostel. The library is good. And talking about campus, its the worst, there is just no campus.
Faculty: The faculty here is average, not that skilled. But I can't be negative. There are some senior faculty who are the best. But this faculty will only be here for 5–10 years, according to my estimate. The course here is designed by GTU but I feel this will not make us industry-ready. The difficulty level of the exam is low and there is a semester-wise exam taken here..

Absolutely satisfied with the teaching, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: For marketing, many companies are ready to recruit students from the college. But, a few companies visit the campus to offer placements to finance students. Approximately 70% of the students got placed from both streams. The average salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. For marketing, sales executive job offers are in abundance, but many different job roles are offered for finance. Almost 60% of the students got internships from college. The lowest stipend offered was Rs. 0, and the highest stipend offered was Rs. 5,000. There is a placement committee in the college which ensures that the students are informed about every company. They also invite and coordinate with other companies.
Infrastructure: The campus has a 10-storeyed building and a parking lot. Classrooms are up to date and equipped with air-conditioners, curtains, chairs and projectors. The library is filled with all types of management books. Different sports activities are held competing with other colleges. There is no hostel facility provided by the college. The only thing problem is the washrooms. They are good but can be made better.
Faculty: Professors in the college are highly qualified. They are worth to be called professors. They approach all types of teaching method such as slide shows, Q&A sections, hypothetical situations, role plays, notes and lectures. I don't know about the student and the faculty ratio but I can say that it is sufficient. There was an industry visit in our first year. The course curriculum is average.
Other: The management faculty members let us host an event on our own the first year. Starting from planning to wrapping up, everything is done by students, like getting sponsors, decorations, distribution of certificates, announcing winners and inviting the students of other colleges to participate in the management games.

Think before taking admission here.
Placements: I have got my job on my own but not through college campus placement drives. The college is not worth the fee you pay. I suggest you work hard for another year and get a good score in CAT or CMAT and get into a good college.
Infrastructure: This college doesn't provide any Wi-Fi facility. Labs are extremely outdated, and they need to be renovated. Classrooms are cluttered. The library is good, but they need to renovate that too. There is no enough place for sports and games, and the college doesn't provide any medical facilities.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are very good, and their experience is great. The teaching quality is not up to the mark. Only a few faculty members are good enough, and the rest of them are not good at all. The student to faculty ratio is good. Most of the faculty members have practical work experience.
Other: Fests are organised in our college, but they are not that good. The campus crowd is good. However, the rest of all the activities are average.

The fundamental difference between the two courses is that an MBA is a degree course and a PGDM is a diploma course. Being postgraduate courses, both MBA and PGDM require students to have completed their graduation in any stream with at least 50 percent and 45 percent marks respectively.

At this score it is very difficult to take admission in leading B-schools of India accepting MAT/CMAT Score. Either you can retake exams like CMAT/MAT and take admission or wait for a call from the institute.
