CMAT is a popular option among management aspirants to pursue MBA degree course. Common Management Admission Test or CMAT is conducted by the NTA and accepted by over 1300 B-Schools in India, including some of the top government institutions. Admission through CMAT 2026 will be based on cut offs. The accepting colleges determine CMAT cut offs for admission to MBA/PGDM courses.
The CMAT cut off can vary from year to year and college to college. Only if a candidate meets the CMAT cut off marks criteria of a particular institute he/she will be invited for admission process. No, GIM Goa does not accept CMAT scores for its PGDM programs for admissions. It only accepts CAT or XAT exam score. CAT score of previous year is accepted and XAT score of current year is accepted.

No, CMAT scores are not compulsory for admissions into the MBA course at NSUT. Even CMAT scores are not the first priority of the admission committee to shortlist the students. There is no provision of result evaluation in CMAT. The scores mentioned on result will be final and cannot be challenged. Candidates can only challenge the provisional answer key which is released before CMAT result.
