Our college is the best for this course.
Placements: More than 90% of students got placed in our course. This college provides good knowledge and produces good programmers to contribute well to society. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: All facilities like Wi-Fi, laboratory, classrooms, and library are available in this college. We also have updated books. The canteen is also available. Medical facilities are good. The food served in the canteen is good. All types of sports and games are conducted in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for projects and many other activities. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Exams are not difficult. If you study properly then you can score good marks. The exams are conducted continuously.
Other: I opted for this course because it provides good knowledge. It also provides extra courses for a better future.

The course is good, but teachers are bad with less teaching experience and no placement assistance.
Placements: Initially, there was no assistance for placements. However, after continuous talking about placements, they started working on it. I was pursuing a master's of science in statistics. In this course, there are a total of 42 students. Out of them, 40 students are from the statistics background, and 2 students are from the biotechnology background. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is 3 LPA. I got a salary package of 4 LPA in Wipro.
Infrastructure: Due to covid, our course was totally online, but the facilities in the college are the best. There are lifts, centralised air-conditioners, labs, paid software versions of SPSS, SAS, etc. Overall, it was good. The campus life here is also good, and the campus is lush green. The hostel is available on the campus, and the canteen and library are also good.
Faculty: By the time I was in the course, there were no proper faculty members, and examinations were held on Zoom meetings and subjective type. Faculty members are not that good. The course coordinator doesn't take any of the responsibilities. It was a bad experience with the course coordinator because he wasn't even sure of what to do and what not to do.
Other: Overall, Somaiya College is good. However, as the M.Sc course in statistics started in 2020, it was its 1st year. Due to this, faculty members weren't proper. Lectures were shifted if you are ready to pay 2 lacs fees for your masters and then opt for the data science course or any other course, but it should be in K J Somaiya and not in S K Somaiya.

The placement opportunities and course curriculum are great.
Placements: 70 percent of students are placed but I think the percentage does not matter. The quality of education and the expertise you get from highly skilled professors. Accenture, Quantiphi and NeuIQ companies have selected students for major roles from the college.
Infrastructure: The facilities are great here. Classrooms are big and have ACs and more space. The quality of food is amazing and taste is so good. We have a sports ground big library and medical support facilities that are good. Canteen food is a little expensive but the taste is amazing.
Faculty: The professors are highly skilled and professional in their field. From Department of Computer Science, Rajesh Maurya has great experience in the corporate and teaching world. Course curriculum is good it includes both practical and theoretical knowledge we need.

S K Somaiya College, one of the best colleges to study and prosper in your career.
Placements: NielsenIQ, Motilal Oswal, and Arthur J Gallagher & Co were amongst the top recruiters for this course. min package of 5.5 Lacs past year. Sincere efforts were made to place students here and various guest lectures were arranged to make students understand the interview procedure. Lectures of industry experts were also arranged to give information on the use of professional social media.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on the entire campus. There are air-conditioned computer labs in which software like R, SPSS, SAS, Python, SQL, and Excel are taught. There are various libraries available to satiate students' hunger for knowledge. A hostel facility is also available on the campus. There are 3 canteens and 2 mess for students which provides healthy and hygienic food at an affordable rate. On campus, all primary health care is available. Games facilities for lawn, tennis, table tennis, badminton, human-sized chess, running track, cricket ground, and basketball ground is also there on campus.
Faculty: Teachers here in the Statistics department are genuinely helpful. Almost all the teachers we had were subject experts having great wisdom to share with students. Our course coordinator is always ready to help, guide and conduct new activities to make students industry ready. He always connects academic knowledge with industrial application. He is the backbone of the Statistics Department of SKSC.
Other: I chose this college because of the big name of "The Somaiya college", as its name says all about its reputation. I have never been disappointed after taking admission into this college. It's one of the best colleges one can get with the best teaching staff, support staff, libraries, labs, classrooms, campus, sports facilities, mess, canteen, and hostel. This is an absolutely ragging-free campus and one of the most secure environment one can have to learn and grow. I wholeheartedly recommend this college, even though, at first the fees might look a little expensive, I feel it's 100% justified. Moreover, the college also provides financial aid to eligible students.

It is an average college for doing statistics.
Placements: Students from the department of M.Sc. Statistics got hire in various sectors like analytics, marketing and banking. Fractal Analytics, MU Sigma, Wipro are consistent recruiters from the college of S K Somaiya College. The highest pay would be 6.2 LPA for our department.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are fully ventilated and spacious to hold the overall capacity of the students in speaking situations, especially during the organisation of some events. I'm satisfied with the food systems arranged in our college hostel as well as in the college canteen, which were handled by professional contractors.
Faculty: Higher authorities consequently hire experienced professors, but in our departments teachers are less experienced while compared to other departments. Sometimes the quality of their teaching requires improvisation and need to discuss the concepts from the basic.
