No, you cannot directly join SPA Bhopal, neither for undergraduate nor postgraduate programs. All admissions to SPA Bhopal happen through entrance exams and a competitive selection process. There are no direct admission or quota-based entry options.
Undergraduate Programs (B.Arch and B.Plan):
Admission is based on your performance in JEE Mains and SPA Bhopal Admission Test (SPAT). Both exams test your aptitude and knowledge in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and relevant drawing skills. Shortlisted candidates might be called for an interview round.
Postgraduate Programs (M.Arch and M.Plan):
Admission is generally based on your performance in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design), depending on the chosen specialization. Some programs might also consider your academic record and portfolio of work. Shortlisted candidates might be called for an interview round.
The Government of India designated SPA Bhopal as an Institute of National Importance in 2008.
JEE Main, NATA, and DASA UG are the tests approved for admission to the B.Arch program. Candidates who wish to enter the School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal (SPA Bhopal) must first: 1)take the JEE (Main) test.
2)Obtain at least 75% in Class XII (65% for SC/ST/PwD).
3)Be in the top 20% of their respective Class XII board test category.
4)Pass the IIT-JEE Mains test or the All India Engineering Entrance test.
5)Pass with the college's cut off marks
6)Show up for JOSAA counseling.

To know which is a better choice, students must weigh both options based on important factors such as fees and median package. As per official sources, the fees to pursue BPlan at SPA Delhi and SPA Bhopal is INR 4 Lacs and INR 2.13 lakh, respectively. In terms of fees, SPA Bhopal is a better choice.
