Good faculty and placements in 2026. The campus has good facilities and atmosphere.
Placements: Above 90% of the students are placed in different core companies of our college in the mechanical department. The highest was 5 lacs per annum, the lowest was 3 lacs per annum, and the average was about 4.2 lacs per annum. The companies were Catia and CAD. The role offered is Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET).
Infrastructure: We have high-speed Wi-Fi in the department. We have well-established labs and experienced lab assistants. The classrooms are equipped with projectors as well as a digital board. We have a separate department library, a separate seminar hall, and a separate auditorium for the department. The hostel is good, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided in the hostel mess. Canteen food and atmosphere are good. Sports and events are held throughout the year.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. They teach the subject without any problem and solve the doubts instantly. They are really helpful in clarifying any doubt at any time, and they don't even hesitate to answer the doubts. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are very industry-based, and the pass percentage is above 98%.
Other: I like mechanical engineering; I did my Diploma in mechanical engineering as well. The best part about my course is that you can physically SEE and know what happens if you do anything to the machines. Events are held throughout the year, and the college fest happens once a year for a week. The campus has almost 3000 students, all from different places. Scholarships are provided for meritorious students by the government.

Nothing to say good and nothing to say bad compared to the local college.
Placements: I belong to the CSE batch of Sree Chaitanya College of Engineering. Around 40-60% students are placed. The highest package is about 10 LPA, and the average is 3-4 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. Roles offered are software engineer and IT support.
Infrastructure: The department has good labs, Wi-Fi, spacious classrooms, and a decent library. Hostel rooms are adequate, the mess food is average, and the canteen offers basic meals. Medical facilities are available. Sports options are limited but functional, and they conduct sports week.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful and knowledgeable, though teaching quality varies. The curriculum covers the basics but needs more industry focus. Semester exams are moderately tough. The pass percentage is average, requiring consistent study and normal preparation.
Other: I am from the 2024 CSE batch. I chose this course for IT career opportunities. The best things are supportive classmates and decent labs. Improvements are needed in the curriculum and industry exposure. Campus hosts fests, extracurricular activities are good, connectivity and surroundings are decent, and scholarships are available.

College has excellent faculty and curriculum. But placements and facilities need improvement.
Placements: Around 10% of students from our course are placed. The highest package offered is 2 LPA, the lowest is 1.5 LPA, and the average remained around 1.7 LPA. Top roles offered include production and quality control. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small firms like Prathiraj Mental Masters. Internship opportunities are limited, with a very few students receiving offers from local industries.
Infrastructure: Overall infrastructure is average. Labs and classrooms are basic but functional. Library facilities are available, but students need to pay additional charges for access. College is for day scholars only, so there is no hostel or mess facility. Students bring their own food. There are no major sports or medical facilities provided on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent and very supportive. The course curriculum is updated and aligned with industry needs, making students industry-ready. Exams are designed to assess the understanding of core concepts. The pass percentage is around 60%, which reflects a reasonable academic standard.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in mechanical concepts and the opportunities it provides in the manufacturing and production field. The best part of the course is the supportive faculty and the industry-relevant curriculum that helps us gain practical knowledge. However, I wish there were better placement opportunities and more exposure to reputed companies. Events and fests are conducted on a small scale, but participation is decent and gives students a chance to showcase their talents. Campus crowd is friendly, though extracurricular activities are limited.

Heartily satisfied with taking admission in this college.
Placements: A minimum of 70% of students are placed in campus placements. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. The top companies are IBM, TCS, and Wipro. 50 to 70% students got internships from the ECE course in TCS, like companies, Frontend Engineers, and developers, like roles offered.
Infrastructure: There are separate labs for every subject and a huge central library with a full stock of all books, including newspapers and other books, and every classroom has one projector for digital classes. There is a fully hygienic canteen and mess for the college hostel with good food. In case of emergency, they will take us to the hospital, especially. Our college provides insurance to students.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive to students and well knowledgeable. They provide us with as much quality education as possible. In the ECE course, they teach us C++, Python, and Java skills for us to be ready. The college exams are neither hard nor easy, they are medium stuff for passing.
Other: I am interested in making new things. There is a festival celebration on the campus, which is Bathukamma Sankranti.

College is good for those who want to enjoy the 4 years but lose their career.
Placements: In our college the primary focus during placements is given to core branches such as EEE and ECE often neglecting other streams.
Infrastructure: Our college lacks basic facilities like Wi-Fi, and lab equipment rarely functions, not even for basic demonstrations. We're only sent to the library once a year.
Faculty: The pass percentage is just 40%. The course content is not aligned with industry needs. Semester exams are tough, but the teaching doesn't prepare us well. Lecturers fail to guide us properly, leaving us unprepared both for exams and real-world jobs. The quality of teaching is average, as most lecturers struggle to explain concepts clearly and effectively. Faculty members are average and focus only on toppers. They explain concepts just once without follow-up.
Other: I chose my course for my self-interest in the core branches to make my life easy with good placements.

Decent infrastructure, average faculty members, but strong placement opportunities.
Placements: The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department at Sri Chaitanya College of Engineering has a placement rate of around 20% to 25%. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Radiant, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Qualcomm. Roles offered are software designer and others. While specific data on internships is not available. This college encourages students to gain practical experience through internships. The placement cell continues to work towards enhancing opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: Our college consists of so many labs mentioned in the syllabus for students. The labs are neatly maintained and the classrooms are also very well. We have sufficient library and daycare center for girls to take rest. It also has seminar halls, playground, auditorium, examination branch center, book store, canteen, etc. Hostels are also good and the food in hostel is average. The canteen food is sometimes good as every time we eat. Our college also conducts sports and has a big playground.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are excellent in teaching and superb. We will may have in last year. Our college runs under JNTU Hyderabad branch so the paper is tough compared to our college. Mid-exams are easy. The percentage is also satisfied by the students sometimes.
Other: I decided to join this course because it is interesting and different in a group of people. Secondly, I had thought the course was tough as long as my 1st semester was going to end. Every course has its difficulties but one who studies properly can achieve anything so preferred to study this course. Our college conducts fests and events like festivals, dance programs, blood donation programs, etc.
