It is an average college with rigid rules and regulations.

Placements: Approximately 23 students enrolled in this course. The semester fee for this program is Rs. 9,000. Around 50% of the students in this course secure internships. Pursuing this program can lead to job opportunities in income tax and accounting. Infotech, Technopark, ISRO, Income Tax Department, and Tata are the recruiters for this course. One of the benefits of this program is that by choosing B.Com Tax, you can obtain a degree in B.Com operation by clearing just one paper.

Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities for boys, but girls have a hostel. The infrastructure is excellent, and the hostel is located within the college compound. The mess and canteen facilities are not available in our college. They don't provide sports, medical, and games facilities.

Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified. They teach us very well. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The teaching quality is good. The 1st year exams are easy. The 3rd year exams are not easy.

Other: I opted for this college because of its peaceful atmosphere, positive reputation, and potential to help me succeed in the future. Events and extracurricular activities are not held in our college. The college has many rules and regulations.

Sree Narayana Guru College of Advanced Studies, Sivagiri has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

M.A.	Candidate who have completed qualifying examination in CBCS Pattern-Prior to 2013 admissions: Cadidate must have completed B.A. English as Core Course securing not less than 1.8 CGPA (S) out of 4 OR Candidate who have completed graduation in any programme in the Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Science, Oriental Studies and Fine Arts securing not less than 2 CGPA out of 4 for English Language Courses (common courses)/B.A English & Communicative English/B.A English Language and Literature under CBCS System can also apply. For Non-English degree holders, the maximum credits that can be earned in English Language Course should be at least of 19 Credits to acquire eligibility for admission. Candidate who have completed qualifying examination in Annual scheme/ Other pattern: Cadidate must have completed B.A. English as optional main subject securing not less than 45% in Part III including subsidiaries. OR Cadidate who have completed graduation in any subject in the Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Science, Oriental studies and Fine Arts securing not less than 50% marks in Part I (Three papers under compulsory English) or Part II Special English/ B.A Communicative English (Vocational)/B.A English Language and Literature and B.A Communicative English (Restructured) can also apply. For Non-English degree holders, the maximum marks that can be awarded in Part I or Part II Special English should be at least of 300 marks.
B.A.	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent of the state or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto are eligible to apply.
B.Com	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent of the state or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto are eligible to apply provided candidates coming from NonCommerce group should have at least 45% of the aggregate marks.
B.Sc.	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with any two of the following subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology or Statistics of the state or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto are eligible to apply.
