Review of Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College.

Placements: Placement is good. There is a separate placement cell in the college that manages the placement process and brings companies to the campus. Placements mainly take place in the last semester, where students have to represent themselves in the best possible way to secure a job according to their profile. Companies like ICICI Bank, HDFC Life, Genpact, Nagar, and Mahima Group visit the campus for placements. The average package is 3.5 LPA. The highest package is 18 LPA. Placements also depend on student's experience and performance. The placement process follows a defined procedure. It includes an online test, group discussions, and walk-in interviews.

Infrastructure: Separate, fully equipped hostels for boys and girls are available. The hostels have semi-furnished rooms with adequate lighting. The mess food is hygienic and good enough. There are separate charges for the mess.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, skilled, and well-educated in their respective subjects. They work on students' personalities, communication skills, and other qualities required for interviews. They provide proper notes. Those are very helpful from an examination point of view. They are always available to clear doubts and share their experiences, which is beneficial for students. The examination structure is systematic, with two semester exams of 70 marks and two mid-semester exams of 20 marks every year. Marks are also awarded for assignments and attendance. Course curriculum is descriptive and informative. First two semesters cover all the core subjects. The next two semesters focus on specialized subjects according to students' preferences. The curriculum is smooth, and most of the learning is practical. We learn a lot from the curriculum, especially the practical application of theoretical concepts. Faculty members are knowledgeable.
