Candidate must have passed B.Sc. Degree in Physics/Applied Physics (Core/Main), of this University or an equivalent * degree, with Mathematics as compulsory complementary, having with the mentioned marks or equivalent CGPA in Part III (Core and Complementary put together) or an equivalent * B.Sc Physics Honours degree, with the mentioned marks or equivalent CGPA in Physics core and electives (Mathematics compulsory) put together. In the case of applicants having an equivalent degree with triple main/three majors, they should have Physics and Mathematics as two mains/majors and should have minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, while putting the three mains/majors together. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.
