My college experience is short and sweet, filled with laughter, learning, and lifelong friendships
Placements: Disappointing placement experience. Limited companies visit the campus, and the packages are impressive. Training and support from the placement cell are adequate. Some students secure good jobs, but many struggle. More industry connections and better preparation would improve the outcome.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is lacking. No gym or playground is a significant drawback. Hostel facilities are average, with room for improvement in cleanliness and maintenance, and limited recreational space. While classrooms are decent, the overall infrastructure doesn't meet expectations. More investment in facilities would greatly enhance the student experience. Disappointing to see such basic amenities.
Faculty: Faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, making complex concepts clear. Curriculum is relevant and well-structured, preparing students for industry demands. Exams are fair and challenging, testing our understanding. Some minor tweaks needed, but overall great experience. Professors are approachable and provide valuable guidance. I'd give faculty, curriculum, and exams 4/5 stars. Highly recommended for students seeking a solid academic foundation.

Decent infrastructure and supportive faculty is there.
Placements: Around 13% of students got placed. The highest package is 15 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Around 50% of students got internships. Roles offered are data analyst and are highly recruited. Recruiting companies are KPMG, Reliance, Maruti Suzuki, Zomato, and Tata. Jobs like associate recruiters are also likely to get placed.
Infrastructure: No hostel is there, and only a college exists. Infrastructure is okay, but it is not so good, and also, Wi-Fi doesn't work properly. The canteen is okay and at an average and good price. The library is too good, and also, there are people to maintain the decorum.
Faculty: Delhi University curriculum is followed, and also classes work on time, and no major problems, and it prepares the student for real life too. Exams are hard, and also, strict checking is followed to prevent students from cheating in the exam.
Other: I got to my percentage. Fests are a major part of our college.

The college campus is too small but its location is too good.
Placements: Basically, this course does not directly offer placements. To get placed, we need to have certain skills or strong communication abilities. Based on our course and skills, some companies that come to the college might offer placements. However, I never tried for placements because I was not looking for one through this course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms look like our school classrooms. But the library is too good and Wi-Fi is available for students to use in the library. The canteen is also good. In this college, the hostel is not available. Medical facilities are available but not working in the proper way. The same things repeat in games.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in my course. Their teaching quality is really impressive. According to our goals, the course curriculum is really relevant. Semester exams are not difficult in this college. According to the university, 40% is the pass percentage in this college.
Other: I'm thinking about UPSC being optional in both subjects, so I chose this course. I wish in this course, like political the content in Hindi medium should be provided.

Bad infrastructure, good faculty.
Placements: Companies like EY, Deloitte, and KPMG come to the campus but recruit less; they hire only the cream. It’s not like you cannot crack high-paying jobs; there are fewer, but the highest package is about 10 LPA, and the average is about 4 LPA, so there are placements for everyone. You'll just have to grind more.
Infrastructure: The only bad thing about the college is its infrastructure. The college doesn't have a ground or sports facilities, and also doesn't have AC in classes. It gives much of a government college feel, but it is what it is. There is a canteen which is okayish, I would say.
Faculty: Teachers are very good, although some troublemakers are everywhere who have some bias towards some ideological students. They won't charm you if you do your side of the deeds; they are very supportive and knowledgeable. It's DU after all; it provides the best faculty members.
Other: The crowd is also not that good, as people seem kind of uncivilized and lack civic sense, but a few people are good, so you'll find your type of people.

B.A. (Hons.) in Applied Psychology - Batch of 2028
2.8
3Placements2Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Top course at the college, known for its academic relevance.
Placements: Placements for B.A. (Hons.) Applied Psychology at Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) are moderate. Around 20-30% of students were placed, with the highest package at ₹5 LPA, the lowest at ₹1.8 LPA, and the average at approximately ₹2.5-3 LPA. Top recruiters included NGOs, EdTech firms like Byju's, and mental health startups. nternships were secured by about 40-50% of students, primarily in NGOs, clinics, or research roles. The roles offered included counseling assistants, HR interns, and research associates. The college lacks a strong placement cell for psychology, so students mostly depend on personal networks and external platforms for opportunities. Improvements are definitely needed in this area.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the Applied Psychology course is quite basic, lacking a dedicated lab for practicals and having average classrooms with limited smart equipment. Wi-Fi is inconsistent, and the library has few psychology resources. The college doesn't offer hostel facilities, forcing students to find their own accommodation, while the canteen provides limited food options of average quality. Additionally, medical facilities are minimal, and there is no proper sports ground or gym, highlighting a significant need for improvement to support the academic and extracurricular development of psychology students.
Faculty: Faculty for Applied Psychology is a mix of experienced and new teachers, with some being very helpful and knowledgeable while others lack engagement; the teaching quality is average, leaning heavily on theory over practical application. Although the curriculum is relevant and aligns with DU standards, it lacks industry-focused skills and real-world exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult, theory-based, and manageable with regular study, resulting in a high pass percentage of around 85-90%. To make the course more industry-ready and engaging, more interactive teaching methods, practicals, and updated content are needed.
Other: I'm member of the B.A. (Hons.) Applied Psychology batch of 2024, chose this course out of an interest in mental health and human behavior, and while its relevance and growing demand are its best features, it lacks practical exposure and workshops. The campus crowd is average with few extracurricular events, though connectivity is decent due to the nearby metro station. The college needs to improve its infrastructure, placement support, and hands-on learning opportunities, as fests are limited and the campus environment, while okay, could be more vibrant and student-friendly.

My experience at Sri Aurobindo College.
Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed every year. The lowest package is 4 LPA and the highest package is 14 LPA. Recruiting companies are Policy Bazaar, Zomato, Magicpin, Eazedine, Paytm, etc. Approximately 75% of students got internships in different companies like PW, Zomato, etc. Top offered course is B.Com Honors.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my college is not so good, but college provides library, labs, and classrooms with AC. If we talk about a hostel so there is no hostel facilities in my college not only for boys but also for girls this is the major problem of our college.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are very helpful to every individual student. They are available at any time for students' problems. If we talk about semester exams and percentage so in last semester paper comes quite difficult but most of the students get CGPA.
Other: I'm choosing this course just because in the entire Delhi University colleges, this course is more valuable than other courses, and in Delhi University, B.Com Honors is a more demanding course, as we all know that.
