Top course at the college, known for its academic relevance.
Placements: Placements for B.A. (Hons.) Applied Psychology at Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) are moderate. Around 20-30% of students were placed, with the highest package at ₹5 LPA, the lowest at ₹1.8 LPA, and the average at approximately ₹2.5-3 LPA. Top recruiters included NGOs, EdTech firms like Byju's, and mental health startups. nternships were secured by about 40-50% of students, primarily in NGOs, clinics, or research roles. The roles offered included counseling assistants, HR interns, and research associates. The college lacks a strong placement cell for psychology, so students mostly depend on personal networks and external platforms for opportunities. Improvements are definitely needed in this area.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the Applied Psychology course is quite basic, lacking a dedicated lab for practicals and having average classrooms with limited smart equipment. Wi-Fi is inconsistent, and the library has few psychology resources. The college doesn't offer hostel facilities, forcing students to find their own accommodation, while the canteen provides limited food options of average quality. Additionally, medical facilities are minimal, and there is no proper sports ground or gym, highlighting a significant need for improvement to support the academic and extracurricular development of psychology students.
Faculty: Faculty for Applied Psychology is a mix of experienced and new teachers, with some being very helpful and knowledgeable while others lack engagement; the teaching quality is average, leaning heavily on theory over practical application. Although the curriculum is relevant and aligns with DU standards, it lacks industry-focused skills and real-world exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult, theory-based, and manageable with regular study, resulting in a high pass percentage of around 85-90%. To make the course more industry-ready and engaging, more interactive teaching methods, practicals, and updated content are needed.
Other: I'm member of the B.A. (Hons.) Applied Psychology batch of 2024, chose this course out of an interest in mental health and human behavior, and while its relevance and growing demand are its best features, it lacks practical exposure and workshops. The campus crowd is average with few extracurricular events, though connectivity is decent due to the nearby metro station. The college needs to improve its infrastructure, placement support, and hands-on learning opportunities, as fests are limited and the campus environment, while okay, could be more vibrant and student-friendly.

Supportive faculty, but limited practical exposure.
Placements: I was part of the B.A. (Hons.) Applied Psychology batch of 2024. Around 20-30% of students were placed, mostly through campus drives or external opportunities. The highest package offered was around 6.5 LPA, the average package ranged between 3-4 LPA, and the lowest was around 2.5-1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Mindpeers, Fortis Healthcare, YourDOST, and NGOs working in mental health. About 30-40% of students got internships through college tie-ups or online platforms like Internshala, mostly with clinics, hospitals, and research organizations. Common roles included counseling interns, HR trainees, research assistants, and mental health outreach coordinators.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the B.A. (Hons.) The Applied Psychology course was quite basic. Classrooms were functional but lacked modern equipment. The psychology lab had limited resources and outdated tools, restricting practical learning. Wi-Fi was available but often unreliable. The library had a decent collection of books, but few psychology-specific journals. Hostel facilities were not available in the college; students arranged PG accommodation nearby. The canteen offered limited food options with average quality. Medical facilities were minimal, with only basic first-aid available. Sports and extracurricular infrastructure existed but weren’t well-maintained or actively promoted.
Faculty: The faculty for B.A. (Hons.) Applied Psychology was qualified, helpful, and had good subject knowledge. Most professors were approachable and encouraged discussions, making the learning environment supportive. The teaching quality was generally good, though it varied slightly across faculty members. The curriculum was relevant and covered essential psychological theories and practices, offering a good foundation for further studies or career paths, though it lacked hands-on industry exposure. Semester exams were moderately difficult and focused more on conceptual understanding. With regular attendance and preparation, students could score well. The pass percentage was high, usually around 85-90%.
Other: I was part of the B.A. (Hons.) Applied Psychology batch of 2024. I chose this course due to my interest in understanding human behavior and mental health. The faculty was supportive, and classroom discussions were engaging. However, the psychology lab lacked updated equipment, and there was limited practical exposure. College events and fests were occasional but enjoyable. The campus crowd was friendly and diverse. The college is well-connected by metro and bus. Scholarships were available through Delhi University. Extracurricular activities were present but needed better planning and more opportunities for active student participation. Overall, it was a decent experience.

The college campus is too small but its location is too good.
Placements: Basically, this course does not directly offer placements. To get placed, we need to have certain skills or strong communication abilities. Based on our course and skills, some companies that come to the college might offer placements. However, I never tried for placements because I was not looking for one through this course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms look like our school classrooms. But the library is too good and Wi-Fi is available for students to use in the library. The canteen is also good. In this college, the hostel is not available. Medical facilities are available but not working in the proper way. The same things repeat in games.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in my course. Their teaching quality is really impressive. According to our goals, the course curriculum is really relevant. Semester exams are not difficult in this college. According to the university, 40% is the pass percentage in this college.
Other: I'm thinking about UPSC being optional in both subjects, so I chose this course. I wish in this course, like political the content in Hindi medium should be provided.

The college has supportive faculty and average facilities.
Placements: I was part of the B.A. Programme (Economics + Music) at Sri Aurobindo College (Evening), University of Delhi, batch of 2023. Placement opportunities for this course were limited, with around 5-10% of students getting placed. The highest package offered was around 4.2 LPA, the average package ranged from 2.5-3 LPA, and the lowest was approximately 1.8 LPA. Top recruiters included Wipro, Genpact, TCS, and Concentrix. About 10-15% of students secured internships through platforms like Internshala and the DU Central Placement Cell, in organizations such as CRY and Teach For India. Common roles included business development, customer service, and teaching assistant.
Infrastructure: Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) offers only basic infrastructure for the B.A. Programme (Economics + Music). Classrooms are functional but not very well maintained. Wi-Fi is available on campus, but it is often unreliable. The library has a decent collection of books, but there are no dedicated labs or instruments for the music department. Since the college does not provide hostel facilities, students usually stay in PGs or rented accommodation nearby. The canteen offers limited food options, and the quality is average at best. Medical facilities on campus are minimal, and sports infrastructure is limited, with few events or activities.
Faculty: The faculty for the B.A. The Programme (Economics + Music) at Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) is generally helpful and well-qualified. Most teachers are knowledgeable in their subjects and approachable outside class as well. The teaching quality is decent, though it varies from department to department. The curriculum is well-structured and covers important theoretical concepts, but it is not very industry-oriented, especially for the music component. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty and manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is quite high, usually around 85-90%, as long as students attend classes and submit assignments on time.
Other: I was part of the B.A. Programme (Economics + Music) at Sri Aurobindo College (Evening), batch of 2023. I chose this course for its unique blend of analytical and creative subjects. The best part of the course is its flexibility and exposure to diverse fields. However, the music department lacks instruments and practical learning opportunities, which should be improved. The college organizes a few events and fests, but not regularly. The campus crowd is friendly, and the college is well-connected by metro and bus. Scholarships are available through DU. Extracurricular activities exist but need more structure and better management.

I am satisfied with faculty members but the crowd is not really good mainly in the evening.
Placements: In my batch, there are approximately 50 students. I don't have an idea about the package and top recruiting companies. Many got internships depending on their talent. Top roles offered in my course are forensic psychologist, clinical psychologist, criminal psychologist, sports psychology professor, teacher, and you can also go into civil services.
Infrastructure: infrastructure is also good but the college is really small. We need more space also. Water facility is not really good. We face issues with water and food in canteen is good. The major problem is college is really small. We have AC in our psychology LAN which is good but other classes don't have AC, making it really difficult for the students in the summer.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good for my course. The course curriculum is relevant as well, and the practical we do is really interesting. I love the pros who teach us, they are really good. It does make students industry ready and we gain experience when we do our practical.

It has supportive faculty, but disappointing infrastructure. There are average placements.
Placements: A very low percentage of students get placed in this college with a very low or average package. I suggest students do not expect placements from this college if they are not from a commerce background because commerce background have more chances of getting placed in this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor. The campus is very small, and it needs to be constructed properly. Washrooms and the area are good for roaming around the college. Only the infrastructure needs proper development because it is very poor and small. However, we can manage as I am also managing in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and helpful. Semester exams are the same for all DU colleges, so they can be difficult and easy too. Teachers are very well-qualified, and they teach very well. Sometimes, they miss classes, but it is okay. However, at the end of the semester, they complete the syllabus.
Other: The college campus is very small. The course that I am studying is very hard at DU, so I chose it.
