Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women: Good for B.Sc.?

Here's a summary of the reviews:

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is decent, with a spacious library, well-furnished classrooms, and air-conditioned labs. However, the Wi-Fi connectivity is poor, and the campus lacks a hostel facility.

Teaching Quality: The teachers are generally helpful, knowledgeable, and dedicated. However, some permanent professors may not be as enthusiastic about teaching.

Course Curriculum: The B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics course is theoretically strong, with a focus on pure concepts. While it's suitable for those interested in mathematics, it may lack practical applications.

Placement Cell: The placement cell is relatively active, with some companies visiting the campus. However, the salary packages offered are often modest, ranging from INR2-INR6 Lacs per annum.

Career Prospects: Graduates can pursue careers in IT, PG in pure Maths or Statistics, operational research, MBA, finance, and banking.

Overall: Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women is a good option for students interested in mathematics and willing to put in effort to secure internships and placements. However, the college may not offer the most exciting campus life or cutting-edge facilities.

My college is very big and nice.
Placements: 50% of students get placed in my college. B.Com (Hons) is the best course. 99% is required for students to do internships. The lowest package ranges from 1.5-2 LPA, and the highest package ranges from 5-6 LPA. MNCs, Banks, etc., companies hire students from the college.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good food in the canteen. The desk is nice. It has nice, neat, and clean classrooms. It has big labs and a library. Our college also provides medical facilities. Week in a day, we play games and sports. It does not provide AC in classrooms, so students suffer very much in the summer.
Faculty: Teachers help us very much. They are understanding. Semester 2 exams are difficult. 50% is the pass percentage. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. If they want to achieve their goals, they have to work hard. Otherwise, they don't achieve their goals. Teachers are very nice and cooperative.
Other: Our college organises events, festivals, and a farewell.

The college was good. The infrastructure and faculty were good. Overall, the experience was good.
Placements: About 6% of students got placed in my course. The highest salary offered was Rs.30,000. There were no top recruiting companies, and only 2% of students got placed. The top roles offered to students were as employees, as the course was not professional. Even 1% were not employed.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure was average, and the environment was good. Water availability and clean washrooms were provided. The cleanliness was very well, and the security of the college was very good. The staff was also very helpful.
Faculty: Teachers were very supportive, and the curriculum was excellent. The semester exams were moderately tough, and every student was able to take the exams and managed to pass. The pass percentage was 33%, and every student scored above 33%.
Other: I chose this because it enhanced my interest and helped me gain more knowledge and information about the course in detail. The site visits should have been held more often.

Totally dissatisfied because of placement, faculty members were not that much corporate.
Placements: In my batch, there were a total of around 130 students, and none of them were placed in any company. The college was providing internship details, and if you want to do one, you can go through the procedure. But there were no on-campus placements. Most of the students opted for further studies like MCA or M.Sc. in Computer Science.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average compared to other Delhi University colleges. It has a very small campus. Only in the canteen, you can get a Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are average with no air conditioning. There were no hostel facilities. You have to seek a flat or PG.
Faculty: Teachers mainly focused on the theory part rather than the practical. Teaching was not that much sufficient for industry readiness. The semester exams were not that difficult. Most of the questions were from the class notes. A student who takes her class on a daily basis can secure a high CGPA.
Other: I have a keen interest in coding and want to explore this field. If the college focuses on the practical part, they would do really well. Annually, fests are held by the college for four days. The campus crowd is not that much.

Review of Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women, University of Delhi.
Placements: There are no placements and doesn't spread awareness to students. Even students are trying to get more information. They do not give proper information and tell us that we'll give information in groups but we don't get any messages related to the question from faculty members and teachers.
Infrastructure: There is no infrastructure. It does not have a proper class timetable. Students get irritated by the timetable which is made by the college. No hostel is present on the campus and tells us that the work has been going on since the first year.
Faculty: Faculty and the exam procedure are very good. Teachers are very helpful in nature. They help students and make them feel comfortable but the administration office faculty members are very rude and they don't do students work in a single time. It doesn't have enough teachers which is needed for the course.

BA program insights inside SMP College.
Placements: 10-35% of BA students get placed through the campus. The highest package offered is approximately 6-8 LPA in sales and content writing, and the lowest is approximately 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for BA students are Wipro, Teach for India, Genpact, Zomato, EdTech, and Lamp Fellowship.
Infrastructure: SPM offers a clean and green campus with well-maintained classrooms, a fully equipped library, and computer labs. It has a good auditorium, seminar rooms, and a canteen that serves affordable food. Wi-Fi is available in academic areas, and basic sports and medical facilities are also provided for students.
Faculty: The teachers are generally supportive, well-qualified, and encourage class participation. The BA program curriculum is moderately industry-relevant, but leans more on academic, and additional skill-based certifications are recommended. Semester exams are manageable with regular study.
Other: I chose the BA program at SPM College for its flexible subject combination and supportive learning environment.

Absolutely not so satisfied with faculty. Placement is near to zero.
Placements: There is very little possibility that you will get any good placement, but yes, you can do an internship, but it all depends on how good you are. This college does not give that much support in placement. No good brand value company comes. And you cannot only rely on the college to get a good package just by getting some good value degrees.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is small but very well maintained in the outer area. Labs are okay, classrooms are not well cleaned, and canteen food taste is okay. The library is very old. You can never find any new book, and mobile data does not work there. They support NCC.
Faculty: The faculty is okay, but not so good at teaching! Teachers are supportive and helpful, yet teachers' first work is to teach their subject very well, in which many teachers do not stand. The attendance rule is very strict; you need to have 60% above and 85% above to get full marks internally.
Other: Small events take place sometimes, but to explore more with other colleges and students, the students have to do it all by themselves. There are a lot of quotas and scholarships for ST/SC and OBC. The general again has to suffer, and the crowd is below average, not so supportive, and there is no healthy environment.
