Q: What is the eligibility to get admission in Sri Indu Institute of Engineering and Technology for UG/PG courses?

Sri Indu Institute of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: Courses Eligibility MBA/PGDM Candidate must have passed Bachelor Degree (BA / B.Com/ B.Sc/ BBA / BBM / BCA / BE / B.Tech / B. Pharmacy / Any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages). Examinations of minimum three years duration with the mentioned marks (45 % marks in BC Category ) in aggregate from a recognised Institute/ University. The qualifying degree obtained by the Distance Mode Program/ Open Distance Learning (ODL) should have recognition by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB as per UGC Regulations of 2013. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis. The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2004). No maximum age limit. B.E. / B.Tech Candidates who have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit. After 10th Diploma Candidates must have passed 10th examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or from any other recognised board in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidate must have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2023, and whose results are yet to be declared are also eligible.

Placements: Most of our students get placed through college placements. The highest package a student gets placed with is 15 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 4 LPA. Many companies offer placements and internships at our college, like Wipro.

Infrastructure: Many facilities in our college. We have hostel facilities, safe drinking water, a beautiful cafeteria, a good playground, and a basketball court. We have a great infrastructure with a clean and hygienic environment and joyful weather.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. It makes students industry-ready. The curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready quickly. The pass percentage in the semester exams is 80%.

Other: The best thing about the course is good, but I wish it would improve further.

I'm dissatisfied with the college, placements, and faculty.

Placements: I passed out in the year 2025. There are no placement opportunities for students. Very bad assistance from the college management. Barely 20 students have been placed in my branch. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. No top recruiting companies, only local companies come for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our department is quite good. Good lab facilities and classrooms. There is a very small library on our campus. The hostel is available only for girls. The food quality is good. One canteen with reasonable prices. Very little sports time for students.

Faculty: Teachers are not that helpful, and the teaching quality is not that good. Teachers just focus on completing their syllabus. Students will have no clarity on the syllabus. The course curriculum is relevant to the branch we choose. Students are not industry-ready. Exams are a bit difficult, and the pass percentage is good.

Other: Not much fun in college life because there are fewer events and fests. No extracurricular activities are conducted. They have improved in providing placement assistance to the students.

Our college has good infrastructure.

Placements: Above 70% of the students were placed in our college. The highest package in our college is 4.25 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.75 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and Capgemini. Above 70% of the students have done internships in our college, and they are doing internships in top MNC companies.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very nicely provided. The Wi-Fi in our college is very good, and the labs and the classrooms are somewhat better. The college library is very nice, and all the books are in the library itself.

Faculty: The teaching quality is better in our college because we have M.Tech-studied faculty and Ph.D. holders too. The teachers are helpful in clarifying doubts, and they help in understanding the lessons for each and every student. The semester is somewhat tough in the college, but in every college, the semester is like this only.
